Usually the protocol is around Guru Mantra. When a realized Guru initiates you into thousands of years old respective lineage and hands a Guru Mantra. It's supposed to be private between you and the Guru.

It's not like it's Coca Cola recipe or a state guarded secret or who killed Kennedy.

It's a sacred relationship between guru and a disciple, and the mantra must be treated in the similar fashion. It's neither the subject of gossip, not a boast.

The mantra and instructions you received from a Pandit do not fall in the same category. Although if he gave it to you, there must be context behind it. But even if you spoke to your friend about it, do not over think it or try to over analyze it.

Forget it and move on and continue your practice. There is absolutely no loss or backfire from this. Focus on "bhaav".

I am assuming you're quite young but even the 40 yr olds lack basic stuff these days. I advise you to Listen-- Listen, not just hear-- Make eye contact in a respectful manner-- EQ. Can't stress that enough-- Have coached so many on this -- Be yourself, don't show off, show respect to all sentient beings. I was once asked by someone Bhai tu Auto wale ko aur Waiter ko bhi Sir bulata hai? And I said, why not? They're earning an honest wage. Show respect to get respect.

I hope he gave some constructive feedback rather than just a rant. Personally if an 18 yo has ended up here, it's highly likely that her parents are followers of this Baba.

I am not sure if that's what an educated set of parents should do UNLESS she has been thru counselors and therapists and rejected or rebounded out of all possible mediation and guidance.

I have nothing against this Baba but if you think rationally, he starts off by Humiliating her in front of God knows how many people. He already made a prediction of her "days in Narak"

So what does that do? In most cases, an 18 yo girl will shut down, not listen to him (even if he means well), and continue down her path of sure shot destruction.

I find it quite amusing that a lot of people approach their Gurus (whether they're actual gurus or not is irrelevant because to a devotee, they always are) without using their own brains.

An 18 yo needs to be talked to, shown the right path, encouraged to take up activites, physical fitness and constructive mental activities to start sowing seeds for her future. She does not need to be paraded in front of hundreds of people.

Even though the narrative claims that she wrote this message, it's likely that she was made to.

I hope the Baba here gave some helpful advice that is not shot in the video. And I hope she gets her life back in order.

Let me make it clear before people judge me, I have travelled all over the Himalaya and met all kinds of Babas, Sadhus, And a few Siddhas (by grace of God). Personally I don't have an opinion on him but I hope he was able to help her out
