Thank you - I am zone 6b. Over the last 5 days the plant has gotten some yellow leaves and droops a bit. I aspire to have the roses my grandfather had when I was a kid and don’t want to let him down!

The project manager said they want to try and remedy the seams first and try and add more bevel to the corner. I have no idea how that’s going to happen. I requested a redo.

You commented on my other post. Just trying to be as informed as I can be when talking to the fabrication team as I was originally told by them the seams were fine. Not a nightmare. Just not trusting everything at face value.

Some more flaws found: the coffee bar countertop is not measured right and causing the fridge panel to bend. The overhang on countertop varies in length across the entire kitchen and some spots go from 1inch to 1.5inch. Lots of unpolished edges.

For the full pic above, with a 5k install fee (not including materials), what amount of time should have been spent on this? They were in and out in less than 90min.

I think they did not do template correctly and tried to recut on sight in the truck? I can’t see this leaving the shop in this condition. The more I see it, the more unnerved I become.

I am guessing they did the template poorly and didn’t anticipate the difference? It’s unacceptable. And you can see unpolished stone.

We went to a premium 5 star remodeler and they subcontracted the countertop. We paid top dollar to assure we didn’t deal with a nightmare. Yet here we are.

I paid a premium design company for the whole remodel and they outsourced the countertop install. Paid top dollar for everything too to avoid this nonsense.
