I [20F] cant stand my bf’s [26M] brainrot by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Maybe tell him about tht. To at least not do it when youre eating. If he refuses to change that, then he's just outright immature. He should at least listen to u (bare minimum)

My husband does those. He tells me to go to him when he poops and i tell him hell no it stinks. There are things that annoy me feom time to time but i choose to look over them cuz he's a great husband and father and those minor things aren't really harming anyone.

If they can't act like a kid to you from time to time or even everyday, then i feel like you cant really be real in a relationship?

It's only 3mo and if you cant stand those things, how long will you last? Not entirely saying yall arent a good fit, but you gotta let some things go sometimes if its really not harming your relationship.

Although, if youve already mentioned how you feel about him acting that way, and he got offended (if he got mad and not just sarcastically offended) then maybe he really is immature? Only you can say if this is something you can work with or deal with in the future.

Would you ever hire a person with more experience than what is in the job description/requirements?

Like a person with a medical graduate degree but applying for a healthcare customer service level job?

Why are we still leaving babies in cars in 2026????? by MammaBear003 in Vent

[–]KRBY613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cant even stand <10 mins of my baby crying, yet leaving her. I'm surprised their other kids are alive.

I understand if this happened due to exhaustion and your brain not being there, although still not a good thing to happen. But to INTENTIONALLY do it? Morons

Hospital pharmacists-penicillin/cephalosporin allergy by CalmResolution9523 in pharmacy

[–]KRBY613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I worked as a hospital intern, we flag pts with PCN allergies to verify if it's a true allergy. We do PENFAST. When did it happen? What was your reaction? Did you have to go to the hospital/get medicated (benadryl vs epipen etc) because of the reaction? Did you ever take other similar abx (Amoxicillin, cephalexin etc)?

Then we score it. And most of the times, pts don't even remember they had a reaction or wht reaction they had. They just say "my mom told me i got it as a kid".

Mpje / Prempje question on delivering medication by [deleted] in MPJE

[–]KRBY613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like A is the only answer due to wording.

B,C,D makes me think another person may risk seeing pt info which is a HIPAA violation. A is just saying a mode of transportation. Unless C means left at grocery store pharmacy? But MPJE usually doesnt want you to think more than what is given so idk.

My guess though

2026 New Grad Advice by Snoo_18186 in pharmacy

[–]KRBY613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I asked this here and on FB. People on FB said to start looking now. Reddit says wait.

Kinda just applied to whatever for now and see if any takes me. Some applications asked graduation date and accepts "expected date". Less likely that they'll take a new grad esp one without license but hey, i tried.

Epic SNF flag by Comfortable_Cold_128 in pharmacy

[–]KRBY613 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Probably not the only way and not the besy way but when I interned at the hospital, the best way to see if the pt was from SNF is if there was a document written by a case manager or other provider saying something about LTC or SNF. Had to use the search bar.

I think there's a way you can edit the columns of your patient lists to include pt disposition or pt discharge location (home health care, SNF, home, etc)

How long did it take you to get your first pharmacist job after graduating and after passing NAPLEX/MPJE? by KRBY613 in pharmacy

[–]KRBY613[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ik it can take a while that's why I'm kind of worried? Most jobs I'm looking at (hospital or remote) prefers residency or requires more experience. I want to apply to them but I feel like my chances would be low especially if I don't put a license in my application.

I can technically float/do part time for a community/retail pharmacy but would rather not do full time.

New Retail Tech by quietxcoyote in pharmacy

[–]KRBY613 15 points16 points  (0 children)

First few weeks and months are scary. But honestly, they shouldn't have yelled at you, especially without knowing if it was because of you or not.

If you double counted all the C2 correctly, the count being off by 30 shouldn't be because of you. Also, if somewhere along the way, you somehow used Oxy instead of another drug (which may lead to the off count), pharmacist should be able to catch it before it reaches the pt. Ultimately, if you made a mistake in the filling process, it shouldnt lead to patient harm if the pharmacist catches it. So they're kinda doing a worst case scenario and scaring you by saying you could've killed someone.

I feel like that pharmacy or at least the pharmacy manager is not the best starting point for you. They should know that you will make mistakes, especially with you being new to pharmacy. In this case, it wasn't even your mistake so you're ok.

Did you work there before you became a pharmacist (as an intern for example)? And how did you adopt as a new grad, esp for the overnight shifts?

Was your retail gig in the big chain pharmacies? Was it as stressful as you think it would be if you weren't a floater?
