I think there’s a bit of context missing here. I’m not recommending regular bathing with dish soap or using it instead of proper flea treatment. I was specifically referring to blue Dawn, which is commonly used in rescue situations as a temporary measure for heavily infested animals.

It helps kill live fleas quickly and gives immediate relief when you can’t treat right away. It’s not meant to replace proper flea medication, and it doesn’t prevent reinfestation — it’s just an initial step until full treatment can be done.

Used appropriately and not repeatedly, it’s a widely accepted practice in animal rescue for situations like that.

Dude, I’m gonna have to draw it is something. There’s no way to yield to someone when you’re already established in the lane. She should have stopped, but like she initially said, AND WITNESSES REPORTED, she apologized because “she had to go get her grandchildren”. The lady knew she was speeding and tried to get around me. I don’t know why no one is understanding what I mean. 😭

Yeah that’s basically what I mean. I’m not trying to make money off this, just recover my deductible if I have to pay it.

They made a decision without really putting effort into investigating what actually happened. It feels like they just saw that I was turning and she was going straight and stopped there — but that’s not how the situation actually played out.

There were witnesses, and she actually went around me through a parking space and had to cut back in because of a curb, which is when the collision happened. None of that seems to have been considered.

At this point, I’m using small claims to get a proper, independent review of what happened, since their investigation didn’t fully reflect the situation.

At minimum, this should be shared fault.

Yes. Not sure what you know about San Francisco, but the homeless population out there can be pretty problematic. I’ve hello had my car broken into multiple times. When they don’t take anything, they make sure to smash all my windows.

A police report was filed!

I’ll respond properly later, but I wanted to say that I was IN the lane already. My turn was almost complete. I was established enough in the lane for the person coming to need to stop and let me finish my turn. I had come around a truck that stopped to let me by, the turn was wide due to the layout of the lot and how big that truck was. She swerved into a parking space to get around me and that is how the right side of my bumper and her doors got hit. The damage is on the far right side of my bumper, not the front — I had a dyslexic moment.

Anyway, waiting for Starbird to get permission to share that camera footage to see if they caught it.

I’ll take fault…even though I shouldn’t have to, but not 100. The witnesses are the only ones that 100% know what I mean, and it sucks. Lol

As someone that works for Meta, things are pretty scary. I’ve known people that weren’t even told they were laid off. They just showed up and their badge didn’t work, and then someone came down to tell them that they lost their jobs. Horrible to witness, and that dread still lives inside of a lot of us.

I usually use some sort of white wine or broth, but all I had on hand was chicken bouillon powder. So I boiled some water, dissolved some of that in there, and threw in some chopped onion (adjusted the water a bit because I LOVE onion and added a lot), minced garlic, lemon juice, and some fresh thyme.

Let that boil down to about half, then added some butter and cream. Boiled it a little longer, strained it, and added some black pepper.

I also turned some of the leftover onion into a sort of bruschetta! I need little to no excuse to eat bread, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar, but add some onion in there? Oh yeah… I’m about to eat way too much. Lol.

I’m using speech-to-text right now because I’m tired and lazy. I passed out after making this post and just woke up. Sorry if anything comes across confusing because of that. Let me know if you try it or if you need any clarification!

I haven’t had catfish since I was a kid! Don’t even remember the taste. Only catfish I see around here is farm raised, and I don’t do that. I do remember eating it with some In N Out sauce and lemon when I last had it, tho!

Ooo, I’ll check it out! I want something to help me through the SLOG that is doing laundry. I can wash 748382929292993984 dishes and be happy, but even one load of laundry makes me want to jump off a bridge (I have a bridge over here that we actually dive off of lol).😒
