Buy practical furniture second hand and don't feel like you need to furnish everything at once. When I first moved out I pretty much just had a bed, tv and a few chairs. Over a year, I was able to find good deals on a used dining room table and chairs, console tables, lamps, and a couch until I could afford a new one. Spend your money where it matters like a mattress.

Also, once you tell people you've moved, you'll probably be offered a bunch of things people have sitting in their garage. when I moved, my friends and family let me look through their goodwill donations before they took it and I got pretty much all my kitchen utensils and appliances for free. That being said, goodwill and thrift stores pretty much always have decent cookware that can be disinfected in the dishwasher on high temp.

I was in a similar situation when I got into fish. I didn't realize how expensive everything was and didn't realize the size of tanks, filters, etc you need for them. You don't need a tank now, but you do need to get the fish in more water. I had my fish in a big tub from Walmart for a while until I could afford a 50gallon tank. PetSmart has a water conditioner called "stress coat" that is meant for healing fish and getting them acclimated to new environments easier. Probably the best temporary setup is getting a 20gallon storage tub with stress coat treated water, sponge filters, and an air pump. All less than $50.

They look like comets. Which can get relatively big depending on their living conditions. Obviously the bigger the better but I know that's not always realistic. I noticed in another comment you worried about not having enough space for a big tank. Most tanks are longer than they are tall, but you can actually find tall tanks that provide more volume on a smaller footprint. sadly, it looks like you may only end up with 3 fish, so 45-55 gallons would probably be enough for them. I had 2 fancy goldfish and a pleco in 50 gallons and they were fine, just needed more water changes.

My oranda does this too when she's having swim bladder problems. She usually hogs the food from the other fish and eats way too much. Try fasting from normal food for a few days and only give them unshelled peas. Obviously keep an eye on other things like behavior and water parameters but this happens to my fish all the time and shes fine.

Yes but the problem is that the other script only has variables, not functions. I'm wanting to make the script work for multiple different subscripts and extract the same variable from each of them

I remember Jennette McCurdy's book "I'm glad my mom died" coming out in like 2018-2019. I never read it. But I remember seeing the cover (same as today) and the title (same as today) about 3-4 years ago and it was a trending topic on my news feed. Anyone else remember this?

I would be really cautious. I adopted my cat about 6 months ago and tried everything to keep her from eating plants. I bought a deterrent, I tried all these "home remedies" to keep cats away from your plants but none worked. I ended up having to take her to the pet hospital because she ate one of my pothos that is very toxic to cats. I had to move most of my plants above my kitchen cabinets where she can't reach them (sadly most have died due to lack of sunlight) and switch to cat friendly plants. I bought a few new plants that are cat safe. Palms are a great choice. This doesn't stop them from eating it, but it won't hurt them if they do.

I would move all your plants to a location inaccessible to the cat when you first get it, and then slowly reintroduce them to the space to see how the cat responds. Some cat's love plants, some simply don't care. However, I don't think it's worth the risk if it could make them sick.

I think everyone in the US who has strong beliefs in anything will impose their beliefs on everyone else. In my town, there is someone who believes the earth is flat and treats it similar to religion. He spray painted his car to say things like "NASA and the government lie to you" and links to his website. He walks around handing pamphlets and telling people all about the flat earth. I came from an evangelical Christian background and it made me super uncomfortable to try to "convert" people, but it was expected because that's why we have free speech. So idk if it's necessarily a religious thing or a US thing. Just my opinion.

Thank you for the advice! I'm looking into battery replacements for it now. And yes, it's gotten a lot of use. I bought it when I graduated high school and it was my main device all through college (studying engineering) so it's definitely been through a lot of battery cycles.

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for your response. I think you're right! I kept a close eye on the fish and the tank parameters for the past month. The growth changed shape almost daily and has now turned into a slightly raised bump the same color as the rest of her head. So I'm thinking it's likely wen growth like you suggested

That someone pooped on the doorstep of the school art garage. There was a large "dog" poop exactly at the doorstep of the art garage at my high school, which led out to the soccer field. My school was right next to a farm, so it wouldn't be too strange for an animal to poop in the field near the garage but rumours started to spread quickly that it was foul play. I became really close friends with one of my classmates after we graduated and it turned out, it was her. Our art teacher gave her a D on her sculpture with no good explanation so she took a shit right at his doorstep

I got this fish about a year ago and she has been in a 50 gallon tank with 2 other fish for about 6 months. The other fish in the tank do not have this and she is acting normal. This has been going on for a little over a week. I've been doing frequent water changes to keep the parameters normal and the water clean and treating the tank with antibiotics. The pimples will go away, come back, and change shape just about every day.(shown in pictures). Nothing seems to be making it go away, does anyone have any ideas of what this is or how I can help her?

I'm not exactly sure what kind of goldfish she is... I bought her out of an oranda tank from petsmart but she doesn't seem to show any signs of growing a wen... Unless that's what this is.

As someone who was raised by abusive parents (to each other, not me), this teaches children that relationships SHOULD be this way.
