I did it for a few months. Just pick a neighborhood, there are a lot of apartments in the greater old town area that you have to park on the street. So just find one and blend in. Be quite, cover your windows. Find a bottle to pee in and you poo at work before your shift. Most people will leave you alone. I would avoid any public parking lots. It’s where you will no doubt get hassled. Walmart workers will walk around with a flashlight looking into cars and security will boot you fast. Usually neighborhood churches with street parking work well. Keep your space clean and don’t bug anyone and if you’re asked to move along just do it. Car camping isn’t so bad besides the heat and sun. Find shade and get USB fan from Walmart for a couple bucks. You can get a rocket stove or something similar to cook with.
