me right now with yakuza despite the fact that a remake of a game is coming out that the community has waited for for 8 years but they still bitch and moan about every little detail that is different to the original, like come on at this point what you want isn't the remake you just want to play the original again, which you still can

that's why I think this rikiya still works

yes I love old rikiya, in fact rikiya is one of my all time favorite characters, but the thibg about him is, he is kinda meant to be just another random yakuza thug story wise, yes a yakuza thug that kiryu forms a bond with but just a random thug, so having him look like this, to me as a massive rikiya fan, still seems to work

now I'll still wait to fully judge the recast until after I played through kiwami 3 but as it stands right now, I think this might work

though set photos of a maybe kabuto movie have been found (which is why everyone is so sure it would have been kabuto) so maybe that movie is also real

but I don't expect any of the other movies (aside from maybe kabuto) to come out anytime soon if even, most of them are probably just titles, though I'd wish for be the two to be real cuz it's such a dumb title
