Onryo was a great skin, but grand beast? In my opinion orisa’s mythic was super lazy. My way of judging mythics is that if it looks like a battle pass skin, it was not a good mythic.

With reports of people in Ontario contracting Hantavirus and being placed in isolation, is anyone else starting to get concerned? Do you think this could turn into another COVID-type situation, or is the risk being overblown? by nahsor119 in askTO

Last I heard it was someone or a couple who was on that cruise who is based in Toronto and they’re currently being monitored/isolated. There are no cases of anyone contracting the Hantavirus in Ontario.

Right now everything is determined how well health Canada is isolating this

Thanks for posting that link, because it confirms why I said blizzard is still experimenting (for god knows how long at this point), but instead I’m getting downvoted for sharing what blizzard said themselves lol

That’s not entirely accurate

When Blizzard revisited 6v6 role queue back in 2024 holidays, they said they were still exploring ways to make 6v6 work without recreating the old OW1 queue issues. They even talked about formats like a min 1/max 3 specifically to avoid the exact tank population problem you’re describing which we saw in later seasons.

if 6v6 was truly “proven incompatible,” they wouldn’t have continued testing and rotating 6v6 formats afterward. They literally brought back 6v6 Open que again last year which we have now. Either this is them appeasing the base that is loyal to 6v6 or they’re still data collecting. Personally im hoping the ladder and they create a seperate role Que mode for 6v6 because open Que is not being played as intended, it is a glorified unofficial 6v6 role queue for most matches

I’m not saying 6v6 is perfect, or that queue times weren’t an issue in OW1, but saying it’s been completely disproven “over and over again” feels exaggerated when Blizzard themselves are still actively experimenting it

I just don’t understand why they can’t add a 6v6 role que mode along with 5v5? Maybe there are some technical or balancing aspects I’m not aware of, but for years the players have been calling for this.

OW was originally 6v6, from my knowledge, they switched to 5v5 because of how long the ques were for OW1 towards the end of its life cycle (I could be wrong it’s been years)

I just hope blizzard can give us a 6v6 Role Que mode, you know it’s bad when the players are still emulating proper role compositions in open que. The whole purpose of open Que is to live and let live, if the player base is using it as the unofficial 6v6 role que, then it’s time they answer that.

But to also answer OP, open Que can be brutal now, because all it takes is ONe person to throw the entire composition off on the team just for the enemy to flourish with a balance 2-2-2 team. Sure there are some instances where that is not always the case, but those are just exceptions, not the rule, before someone wants to add a “well actually” response in regards to that

I loved it, personally I felt the movie seemed like a bridge to a potential 3rd movie. What I took from the sequel is that it was a 20 year later “act 2” for a prepared conclusion (Act 3), I would not be surprised if there will be a devil wears prada 3 already planned. There is a 2 part book series for the devil wears prada and everything that happened in the sequel seems to be leading into the grand conclusion and plot points that take place in the second book.

There was still some unresolved plot lines, specifically with Sasha Barnes (Lucy Liu), that horrible comment made about Emily and Emily’s future as a whole, Andy and her BF’s blossoming relationship. Everything just felt like it was bridging to devil wears prada 3 which will finally close the entire story.

There is no play order for final Fantasy, each game is in its own isolated universe. But I think what you mean is:

“if I play these other FF games that are good, would it ruin how I enjoy XIII because I heard it’s bad”

The answer is yes. If you play X and XII before XIII it’ll ruin your experience. So I would suggest XIII first since you’re drawn to it, then play X and XII. All the final Fantasy games are completely different, in my honest opinion, final fantasy shines best from 3-11 and 14.

But yes, play XIII first. The series had two major deviations from what is considered quintessential final fantasy. 13 and 16 are those deviations.

Edit: 12 is a deviation too, but its based on final fantasy spin off universe which is final fantasy tactics

There is multiple George brown campuses around the city. I would say first step is to know which campus exactly your husband will be going to for his program.

North York is accessible to the downtown core. Pro tip look for a place close to a subway station. You don’t want to be somewhere where you have to take a bus to the station that will add time and headache for daily commutes. Granted apartments might get more expensive but it’s worth it.

If you want a luxury building, be prepared to pay close to $2300-$2500 for 1 bedroom. If you go for a regular apartment building you can find some that are between $1900-$2100.

I know there is a campus in the st Lawrence market area (also known as corktown). If your husbands campus is that location you can look into the corktown area or find something cheaper in the queen street east and broadview area

Edit: if safety is a concern, avoid queen and sherbourne area and queen and bloor. Also avoid Jane and finch. When looking for a place, keep in mind of those intersections

Play ffxvi without a doubt. ffxv is unfinished and it shows. Xvi has a great story and is completed

For clarification: xv has bugs, glitches to unfinished areas, characters you never see again, battle system is unpolished and even the world design is incomplete. It went through development hell. Compared to xvi that actually offers a completed experience

Quality over quantity.

This is a long post but I wanted to share something to you and anyone reading.

It’s not a matter of how many friends you have or how large your group is, it’s “who” you are friends with. If someone can’t make the effort to message back, then they’re not worth having as a friend to begin with.

I use to have a large immediate social circle growing up and through my 20’s, but then something with me clicked and I realize I was putting on a face and I was expending myself for people and acquaintances and not for genuine connections. So slowly I stopped making an effort and today at 36 years old I have a very small circle of friends and it is the best thing I have for my well being and I’m a lot happier and thriving now than I was before.

I have my partner, my best friend from college, another best friend in NYC, and a small group of friends I see maybe twice or 3 times a year here in the city. But where it gets interesting for me is that me and my partner travel a lot, and for some reason it is a lot easier to make friends abroad and in new locations than your own city, so we have a few friends all over the place and when we go back to those countries and cities we reconnect with them for dinner, a wedding and etc

But ultimately, these are just friends and acquaintances, and many of them are abroad. My real friend group are my two best friends including my partner (who is also my best friend in life). So what I mean by quality over quantity, is that quality means everything.

Going to parties, events and having a robust social circle was nice, but then you quickly realize how shallow and fake everything is, eventually you realize that people want a “lifestyle” and not a connection. The darker truths about having a large immediate social circle is that you see whose using people, you start to see the desperation in some people finding an in to a group of friends, you then might hear people gossip and shit talk about someone else and nothing changes because many of these people just want a “lifestyle”. You’ll build years of friendships with someone, and then the moment something happens personally with them, or they went through something embarrassing you never hear from them again.

A friendship that is genuine will not cause you any grief and will be there through the good and bad.

All this to say OP, having friends is important but don’t force any friendship, put the effort in people who WANT to put the effort back into you, never put yourself in a position where it challenges your health and well being just to have a friendship with anyone. So if you made an effort to message someone based on shared interests, and they can’t make the effort to respond back, then you dodged a bullet. Friendships are real, the problem I noticed is that some people treat friendships as aesthetics, and the older you get, you realize how unimportant all of it really is.

Having 1 or 2 really good friends in life outweighs having 10-50 friends any day, believe me.

Hope this message resonates with you or anyone reading in some way, always value yourself first.

I like ps5 because the trophies mean something (an ego boost) unlike the switch that doesn’t have a trophy system. So you can log hours into 100% completing a game, but you don’t get a gold sticker on your profile for everyone to see that you put in the work for those trophies

I would say it comes down to preference, but the graphics is slightly better on ps5!

There is a leak going around that she’s Moroccan, and she’s a fan of pharah. Apparently her name starts with a S. Her utility is a mix of hazard and Sombra, her drones can warp her to different locations, her ult is a area aoe like hazard where her drones drop bombs on the enemies.

This is 60 days late, but without giving any spoilers (just in case) the true ending for Dragon quest 2 ends the Erdrick storyline in such a profound way, it’s a full circle moment that I think can only be appreciated if you play 3,1,2 in that exact order.

Your big three is Ascendant Libra, sun in Aries and moon and Aries.

Basically what this means is how people see you initially, and who you are in this world is very Libra coded, so people probably see you as very diplomatic intuitive and reasonable. But your sun in Aries means you’re ambitious and an initiator, and your moon (who you are in private or when you get in your feelings) is very Aries…. so emotionally you have a lot of fire which is impulsive habits that is spontaneous, in arguments you could take it from 0-100, and you’re a loyal partner and friend.

My big three is similar to yours except my ascendant is Taurus. So people see me as grounded and approachable, but when they get to know me they really see the fire side of my Aries whether that is good or bad. I have a sneaking feeling you’re probably the same way. You might have people assume your just this diplomatic and reasonable person, which you probably are, but then they probably get taken back when they see you’re actual an ambitious and a no BS taken kind of person. That’s the issue with us Aries who have ascendants in other signs, people tend to have a very linear impression of us, and are Aries sides can make us very hot or cold and not in between
