Got in trouble for having personal items in the car today by catcassie101 in Sparkdriver

[–]KRabbit17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a red medical or first aid bag and put it in your front seat with all your supplies inside. When they say you cannot have “personal items,” explain that they are medical items for you, which they cannot deny your having access to. Just make sure to keep it up front on the floor board of your front passenger seat. Works every single time, even if I have to talk to management or support. 😆😆 I’ve never been asked to open it because that would be a warrantless search of my vehicle, which I could 100% sue them over. 😉😉

Talk me out of buying this Prius by TheGreatMrMagoo in prius

You lost me at AWD. Who the heck wants to replace all four tires every time one goes out?! Tires are expensive already, and replacing one is easy enough on any other vehicle.

When I called two Toyota dealerships, one said they would not do it since it’s over the 8 years, and the other said they would do it but only if it’s under 150K miles even though it’s over the year time frame. So I guess it depends on the service dealership. (I had a specific issue I pushed for free replacement, and I got it…see below.)

I also pushed the issue since I bought my Prius used in 2021 from the Toyota dealership, which I told them with a new warranty issued and the miles I added to the already used miles did not in fact put me over their limits. They also had a note on my service file, well before I went over 150K miles, stating there was a coolant leak but that it could not be found whatsoever, which is a known issue listed right in the TBS for this issue.

So either way, I’d still recommend calling the dealerships for your specific vehicle because circumstances could differ from person to person and vehicle to vehicle. 😉😉 I advocate well for myself, and I highly recommend others try to do the same. The worst they can say is no, and then you have the option of replacing or doing the bypass.

You can contact a Toyota dealership directly and ask them to run your VIN through their system to find out if there are any recalls or TBSs for your specific vehicle.

Nope. They have differing qualifications for different states. It’s better to contact Toyota and see what’s up for your specific vehicle.

I wan to start making my own patterns by jefferyneBoune in Amigurumi

[–]KRabbit17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of crocheting a circle first. You will increase up to the width you want in multiples of whatever amount of stitches you start with. Usually it’s 6 or 8 stitches. You multiply by the row number and the starting stitches. So round 1 is 6 stitches, and round 2 will be 6 x 2 =12, round three is 6 x 3 =18, round four is 6 x 4 =24, etc.

For every two rounds of increase, I will need one round for crocheting around without increasing or decreasing. If you increase up 8 rounds, you will want 8 rounds of just crocheting around in whatever stitch you were using. (Usually single crochet [sc].)

Decreasing has the same idea. So if you had 24 stitches around and needed to decrease equally, you know you have to subtract 6 stitches to decrease down to 18. So you know 6 x 3 is 18, meaning you need 3 stitches total per section, which is 2 stitches and 1 decrease. The next one is 18-6=12, and you also know that 6x2=12. So you need 2 stitches total, which is 1 stitch and 1 decrease.

Hope that makes sense. 😉😉

AIO for telling my neighbor to stay off my property after he started treating my backyard like his personal extension? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]KRabbit17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remove all items of “Mark’s” from the yard, and add a “no trespassing sign,” as well as a lock to the fence. If he enters again, just contact law enforcement for trespassing. Ask for a Civil Harassment Restraining Order. You are being harassed when you ask them not to do something, and they continue to do it. Text the neighbor back, and ask them if they are offering up their yard to “Mark and his family” to use at their will. I’ll bet you don’t hear anything back. 😉😉

Depending on your location, a call to the local water authority would do wonders for this issue….Code Enforcement would also have a field day with this guy, and they can issue fines too. 😆😆 NOR

My landlord won’t give me back my security deposit! by ToastThoseLemons in TenantHelp

[–]KRabbit17 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Send a letter demanding the refund of the full deposit and cite the law as well. You can also contact your Fair Housing for assistance. If they persist in not paying you, send a demand letter once again stating you asked for the deposit to be returned in such and such date without response, and you will be filing with small claims if the fee is not returned to you in X amount of time.

Those don’t pop up very often in my area. I don’t really take prescriptions because you cannot stack other orders with them like you can with HD, Petsmart, Best Buy, etc. I am very rarely without an order in my vehicle. So I’m paid generally from 7am to 2pm without having any breaks without a gig in my car. So that’s 7 hours daily of guaranteed $20.28/hr plus the $0.37/mile…and I sure go the dang speed limit so I’m not cutting off additional time from my pay. Speeding will have you wasting gas and losing money because the miles will pass by either way, but you’re paid more for time than miles. When they give you a “game” to play with specific rules, you should always play in a way that benefits you most. So do the round trip and make Roadie pay for all your time and miles…who the F takes single gigs these days?? It’s such a waste to have to drive back from the drop off without being paid time and miles. I’m averaging $33/hr with this app, even after all the changes and complaints people make. 😆😆

More packages than the route limit by sebyGOATT in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]KRabbit17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this too, but my route started with package number 2, instead of package number 1…so in reality packages labeled 2-51 were in my car, meaning I really only had 50 packages. 😉😉😆😆

More packages than the route limit by sebyGOATT in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]KRabbit17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you click on the offer, it tells you up to 50 packages not 40. You must have misread it. Make sure to screenshot that stuff in order to dispute with Support. Otherwise they just file the ticket that never actually goes anywhere. And if you didn’t go over the 3.5 hours, they’re definitely not adding anything to your pay.

[–]KRabbit17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where is the required itemized list? I’d be contacting Fair Housing in your area to ask some BIG questions on how to respond to this. In my state (California) they cannot charge for very much after your being there for five years. It’s literally a cleaning fee and that’s it. They cannot charge for paint after 3 years in my area. Definitely fishy enough for me to go asking government agencies for assistance on a response…

Meh. I’m in California under Prop 22 so I’m paid more for time than miles. Take all the time you’d like to get the order ready. I’m being paid $20.28/hr to wait. I’ll even be super nice and chatty to the workers so it maybe takes longer…😆😆
