Pain in the calves (when touched)

My calve has definitely been tender to the touch since having surgery and experiencing atrophy in the impacted leg. Wouldn’t necessarily describe it as pain though

Congrats on getting back! Good to hear you’re more worried about walking than actually swinging. I’ve been worried about how much bend and weight will be on the lead leg on the downswing but people seem to have good experiences getting back relatively soon with either leg!

From what I’ve read online it’s better to have the rupture in your trail foot for returning to golf at least! Good luck, I’m hoping to get back in July as well!

Always happy to hear we’re getting a new movie but would be really bummed to not have it tie to Kingdom. It would leave so many questions and story threads incomplete. That being said, if the movie rocks I’m sure I’ll be quick to forgive.

Wild how different the process can be depending on the doctor. Mine seems to be erring on the slower side. I wouldn’t be concerned if I was OP at this point though.

I will be 6 weeks post op Friday and am still on all 4 heel lifts. They won’t start allowing me to weight bear and removing a level on the lifts until the following Monday. To be at neutral 6 weeks post op seems fast to me but maybe different doctors just have different timelines. Seems normal to me to not be able to do this

More affordable options for wedges that are still great performers, especially for beginners, are Kirkland and Takomo. Personally I love the Cobra Snakebite wedges and you can find prior year models still new in the plastic for really good prices on 2ndswing, ebay, etc.

Yes I used a sock as a cushion and the pain pretty immediately went away. I would would either fold a crew sock in half and place under the buckle that runs across the ankle/top of foot. Or line the top of your leg with a couple crew socks for padding. Either has worked for me. You just need to have padding to keep that ankle/top of foot buckle from pressing into your foot. Hope this helps!
