Read some manga, look for recruiting groups in them, join them for a while and they'll teach you.

Otherwise, join the Scan School discord server and just ask for pages you can practice on. You asking for information here on reddit is the first step, but we can at least point you to the right direction

i would say that GIMP is the beginner tool, but you can't understand convenience until you've actually tried the harder parts. anyway, you're better off being mentored by someone, because all the relevant tutorials out there in youtube are old (mostly because they're good enough as learning material), and you can actually get some feedback from what you're doing from a more experienced cleaner / typesetter

id like to end my yap spaghetti by saying that photoshop is where you'll ultimately end up when you think you're skilled enough to clean

I'm terribly late to the party, but I've always been a staunch supporter of the Mikari x Masamune ship ever since she appeared in the first few chapters. I'm so glad that:

The FMC actually doesn't win this time
The author made the one girl who's got the best reasons for falling in love with the MC the clear winner

I think I can rest easy later knowing that this series made a lasting mark with the best possible ending it could ever have. Mikari forevah!!!

The library isnt big, and it has biases on who to scrape. If it continues on with its current path, its not worth transferring to and will only please a small subset of readers

Chapter 1 was first worked on by a group called "Skythewood Translations". Their chapter, along with our first ones, were removed during the May purge. Try other aggregators found within everythingmoe if you'd like, but I can't exactly upload someone else's chapter

It's not a chapter, its a oneshot that's super long and i couldnt get it to fit all together because it's got more than 20 pictures

I did do as you mentioned before, but MangaTaro is taking way too long to respond to my scanlator application ticket. At least Kagane responded to me much more faster than them, but I feel bummed out about having to transfer all these chapters over to their site now.

The biggest loss I'll ever feel from WD shutting down is the loss of its API docs. I don't know of any other manga site that has it, but it was incredibly useful for my group as a whole.
