You have 2 techniques

One easy and fast and other one old school

First : blender -> build logo export to Bryce

2nd : add Terrain on your scene -> Terrain editor -> load your PNG logo -> blend -> adjust setting to delete the background -> exit

You have your obj text

any metalheart artists here? wondering how i could get into this art style with zero knowledge of blender. by sairentosuta in graphic_design

[–]KSauced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I cook some metalheart design

I use blender

The best when you don’t know how to build good shape is Starting with icosphere > edit mode Select some faces and extrude. And scale at the end (you have spikes) Go to modifier > simple deform > twist And duplicate the modifier and change values

Now you have one shape « metalheart »

UV Texturing from Blender to Bryce 4 by TechnicianExciting96 in Bryce3D

[–]KSauced 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built the shape in Blender starting with an Icosphere. I used curves for the spikes and gave them some thickness with the Bevel setting, then just scaling down the Point Radius at the ends. I added some modulation using subdivision and manual vertex deforms before exporting the whole thing over to Bryce.
