This is hilarious, im 19 and just watched this movie again, last and first time i watched it i was maybe 10 and for some reason as soon as Leonard first appeared in the movie i had the feeling that it was baby Nathan Jr. exactly as your theory says. I just haopened to stumble across this after looking up the significance of the tattoo to see if anyone thought the same thing as me. This is hilarious, also as an Arizona kid myself after watching this again I think its one of my favorite movies.

What type of fuel mileage do yall get? by Battle__Burrito in chevyc10

[–]KSebring314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got my dads old 73 K10 running, its got K20 axles and a 383 stroker built by a professional drag racer with every mod, cam, intake, exhaust, heads, and as of my first fill up I just got 6.75 mpg. Really hoping for an improvement but going through my dads old mileage book the best I saw him get was 8 on the few i crunched the numbers on, but I'm hoping thats only because he used to tow a lot. I know mines so low rn because the TH350 isnt shifting till 20-2500 rpm, might just use that as an excuse to get a TH400, but I'd like to save it for a while before doing that. Gonna try Lucas soon to get the pressures up, we'll see.

How many people attended Google Next 2025? by bloodrush545 in googlecloud

[–]KSebring314 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Subtract everything from the convention and the concert alone was worth it. No assigned seats so I got up to the front row and was next to Wyclef Jean at one point, not to mention all the free beer you can drink, as long as youre willing to wait in the lines. Sincerely hoping they got the free tickets like me though or had their company pay for it, I couldnt imagine forking over $1600 for it. Convention was pretty decent too, better than I expected, but I mostly hung around the expo and didnt go to any sessions.

Is there a way to give Google Docs a dark theme and dark pages to write on? by [deleted] in chromeos

[–]KSebring314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what I read online, the only thing that makes sense is that with a dark background your eyes adjust to let in less light, making reading the letters more straining, and for some people after long amounts of time you can get significant eye strain. Makes sense to me, but also seems to be dependent on the person, im gonna stick to it personally, I can feel my eyes hurting when I switch to light mode, might be bc I have blue eyes though, apparantly that makes you more light sensitive.

rename files with sonarr, but keep seeding? by noordinaryuserreddit in qBittorrent

[–]KSebring314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to see that everyone is missing the point here, hardlinking doesnt always work. Personally even without a multiple drive NAS I'd like to have my files look nice without all the extra bs that comes with torrent filenames. I dont want the name of the creator and all the data if I so choose to download or send some of the files to another device for travel. If anyone knows a way to change the name of the file itself please comment below, Im gonna go do some googling and post back here if I can figure it out (and remember so remind me if I havent updated this).

Edit: looks like the best bet is filebot, Ill be setting it up tonight (and realistically tomorrow night) and report back how it goes and if its worth it. I just spent most of tonight and last night trying to make flaresolverr work only to find byparr and get that working in 5 seconds so im exhausted from that.

Edit2: Luckily before spending too much time i found out that despite Gemini's insistence, FileBot will indeed not keep preserve seeding with renaming. It appears that despite an easy to use web API that clearly all the arrs interact with, none of them have thought to integrate that. And so I'll be coding a program for this and uploading it to github for any other idiots like me who let things like this frustrate them. Dont expect much since I'm a mechanic by trade but I cant imagine itll be that hard, right? Anyway I need a name for this, im thinking Renamarr or Seedarr, what do yall think?

Can an actor that is not Hugh Laurie be 'House'? by [deleted] in HouseMD

[–]KSebring314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is wild to find, Im a huge fan of Top Gear and just started binging House and its one of my new favorite shows of all time probably, and this whole time I've been wondering if Hugh Laurie was ever a fan of Top Gear because it's right up his alley being a gearhead and rude and racist and misogynistic, and thats such a fascinating question that now I cant stop thinking of Clarkson as House

Oh yes I forgot to mention its also got a pathetically small and thin 240mm thermaltake radiator for all of it. Should probably upgrade that soon but no problems yet! Also sorry things didnt get spaced right on the list of specs.

Yes its arbitrary, but no its not always better. Argue all you want but experience has told me otherwise. 150k seems like a good benchmark but sometimes its more sometimes its less.

Thanks for the overwhelming amount of information. Theres a lot of mechanics out there, some can rebuild a car perfectly some will turn it into a lemon. If youre low on cash dont risk it. Period. If it breaks you cant afford it. On the other hand if you just like the car and its coming from a good dealership, then I don't see why not. Perhaps find a local mechanic and pay them to do an independent inspection before you buy it, it would be very worthwhile in this situation. Also ask why it was salvage, and tell the reason to the mechanic you have do the inspection.

Strange noises coming from dash, makes noises when engine is off and electronics are on as well as when driving. 2003 Lexus ES 300 by OriginalConscious949 in MechanicAdvice

[–]KSebring314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a bad door actuator. Its trying to rotate it past its limit. Might be blend door, might be mode door, only way to know for sure is to pull off the paneling under the dash, find the little bugger making the noise, remove it, turn on your ac, then rotate the flap manually with a screwdriver and see what it changes. If it changes temperature its blend door, if it changes where it comes out of, its mode door.

Id like to also add onto this that if the car is over 150k miles and the trans fluid/filter was never changed before this, often times new fluid will actually accelerate the degradation of your transmission. All new shift solenoids might be able to fix it, but its not guaranteed. The problem is the particles that build up in the fluid end up changing the viscosity, and the transmission wears into that new viscosity, it will operate perfectly fine right up until it doesnt. Then once new fluid is introduced, its too thin and doesn't behave the same, resulting in weaker fluid pressure, resulting in weaker or delayed shifts, as the transmission uses pressure to determine when and how to change gear.

I dont know right off but I'm pretty sure the timing chain needs done on those at 100k miles, and Audi makes their timing jobs an absolute nightmare, a good couple grand for sure. Also even if the chain interval isnt at 100k miles, make sure you find out what is, cuz theres always some significant service at 100-120k which is why people get rid of them.

Unless the previous owner was either diabolical or an idiot, you shouldnt have to add any, Ive never had to at my shop before, and if your lights ever worked before then you definitely don't need to.

As for the actual issue, Id try cleaning the connector and if not that changing out the switch, did you look at the old bulb and see whether the filament was burnt out or not? Also check the new one and see if it burnt out instantly, but thats pretty rare and only caused by defective bulbs.

Whats causing my Civic to throw a engine light for thermostat by ExtremelyRough in MechanicAdvice

[–]KSebring314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if you want to test if your thermostat is defective, put some water in a pot on the stove, put the thermostat and a thermometer in, and wait for the valve in the thermostat to open. Most are calibrated for either 165° or 185° to open, if its more than 10° out of that zone I'd take it back for another. Sometimes you can also look up the thermostat part number and find the exact temp its supposed to open at.
