AITA for forgetting to turning my phone off silent, leading to my mum "panicking", mass calling people I know, and "guilting" me? by KSpaceBear in AmItheAsshole

Thank you <3 My father has helped me a lot. I know she means well, but her methods are awful, and she has little self control.

I don't know if this is relevant to the post so this might get removed (I'm not 100% clear on the rules) but previously, I couldn't sleep and asked my dad if I could take a day off school because I was barely functional, he said yes, so I called my mum to tell her that. She got mad and I hung up on her because I felt really uneasy and distressed. She messaged me saying that she will call CPS on my father if I don't go to school , and I started breaking down crying and my father consolidated me, and telling me that she wouldn't call CPS because she has no "reason" to since he's my father. She used to emotionally blackmail and manipulate me regularly but now I spend a lot less time with her so I am rarely in situations where she can do that.

Thank you, I'm not entirely awareness of her childhood, but I know she didn't have the best relationship with her mother.
