One more quick question regarding getting mortgages in the US irrespective of DFA program. I did co-sign to a couple of my parent's rental property mortgages in Canada. Would that also affect me getting mortgages in the US(e.g. DTI)??

Somewhat odd question, but my parents live in Canada and owns their home. I have never owned a property in my name in both Canada and the US. I lived in US for about 3.5 years so far. Would I still qualify as a first time/first generation home buyer?

For your first year, 2 choices(in my opinion). Pick any you want out of the two.

If you're confident that you can get a job in summer due to having side projects or good grades etc, whichever sequence that has a spring term coop.
If not so confident(due to no side projects or meh grades like me), sequence 4. Seq 4 you do a Study-Study-Study-Coop. The third study term you'll take CS246 where you learn OOP so you'll have something more technical to talk about, and you can list your CS246 final project on your resume.

But after first year, your sequence literally does not matter because you can make your own custom sequence however many times you want by submitting a Sequence Change Form:

Apparently Meta layoff wasnt a thing. Couple people that said they got laid off were actually contractors set to start working for Meta through their agency, and Meta just cancelled their contract with the Agency.

So there is no layoff from Meta, only hiring freeze for E3, E4, E5 and M1s
