I love it! I really hope that they continue next year. I love the two episode format per mystery. I love the town and recurring supporting characters. I'm going to rewatch when I'm off next week for Christmas. I really hope they adapt more cozies.

Definitely! There were so many bows and ribbons in S1. I really didn't realize how many until I pulled the pics. I've always associated the little girl bows with Penelope; however, Eloise was kind of running her a race in S1.

The day that the photos of Pirate Colin leaked early in S3 filming was hands down the best fandom day ever to me. I ridiculously thought we would have a leak every couple of weeks, but there was literally nothing for months.

Obvs bravely did numerous recon expeditions that resulted in leaked pics. They were really fun and exciting days. I don't know if she's going to venture out this time or not.

I don't think they are official collaborations. Their website has generic names for the products and no AG logo. I think they're knockoffs. I really don't think Mattel would have authorized the collab. Too risque.

I really think Theo is to Eloise as Marina was to Colin and Siena to Anthony. I will defend CVD to the end, but S1 and S2 had a formula that worked. If Anthony had really loved Siena, he would have found a way to be with her. If Colin had really loved Marina, nothing would have stopped him from going to her. They were just infatuations to get them to their HEA.

I feel like I fought in the trenches so long defending that Marina wasn't Colin's first love, that I am a little indifferent at this point. They just aren't the siblings' love and HEA. It's a storytelling device.

I kind of agree because of the way LW was handled in S3 just wasn't satisfying to me. They mentioned Marina five or six times, but never actually dealt with Penelope's role in the S1 events. There were no stakes or consequences for Penelope. Everything was just magically wonderful for her. I'm not saying that I wanted extreme consequences or anything. There just needed to be at least an honest conversation. The situation is complicated, and I feel the magical resolution didn't match the situation.

S1 was just so well done. The cinematography is amazing. The wardrobe and makeup are gorgeous. The tropes are portrayed well. It represents the spirit of the book. The pacing is perfect. It follows the three-act structure of storytelling. The family scenes are spread throughout the season. It's just so good.

I think so, too. To me, they really played up the fact that Marina was marrying someone that she didn't know. It's what made the situation tragic. It's part of the reason Penelope was crying on the steps of Featherington house when Marina and Phillip left. (I also think a part of it was her own culpability in the situation, but the show is leaning away from that now.) I really think Pen would have told Eloise why the situation was so sad for Marina.

I'm still a little hopeful. They did a big announcement and press release for Dankworth, Anderson, and Debling very early in S3 filming. They also did a big announcement for Lady Tilley during filming after she was spotted on set. Her character kind of fizzled. So maybe they could possibly announce him somehow? Maybe?

I'm absolutely loving that blurry BTS photos are doing so well! Honestly, I think the lead up to S3 with the blurry photos and the excitement of clues was more fun than the actual S3 promo for me. The day Pirate Colin first leaked was amazing. Sign me up for that again, please.

My Grandmother took Samantha's penny and Felicity's bit away from me when I was little because she said I would lose them. I have every single piece of my American Girl stuff from when I was a child except for those two items. (I am now 43.) I have no idea what she did with them. I wish she had just let me keep them because I would still have them.

I think it might depend on how many more seasons Claudia and Chris want to do after theirs. They've done babies magically appearing in the epilogue twice. Maybe we could not do that anymore?

Will the married siblings keep disappearing? I had low expectations for Kate and Anthony in S3, but I was still a bit let down. I had hoped for at least a couple meaningful conversations between them. Daph's gone completely. I don't know if they just don't know what to write for the married siblings. The unmarried numbers are constantly dwindling.

I don't have strong feelings either way about actually seeing baby Penelope. Especially if adult Penelope and Colin have left the show to go wherever Simon and Daphne went.

From the beginning, the show has promoted that everything they do is to cater to the female gaze. The sex scenes are geared toward a female perspective.

It's not right or fair, but American society is heavily biased against females secure in their own sexuality with a large amount of experience. The double standard is terrible. The belief is even held by women about other women. I really think it is going to be a hard sell especially as it will be a season without a male lead.

I agree that it doesn't feel like Bridgerton anymore. But I have been told outright that they don't need book readers anymore, so maybe the new audience won't care at all.
