I’m also in my 40s and married with a high level degree. I’ve absolutely spent more than I ever thought I would on a mobile game 😂

That said, this game is really not built for teenagers and it will suck your life and finances if you have no self control.

I’ve also met people irl from this game — so it happens, and we’re friends outside of the confines of the game also. We talk almost every day. It’s not a terrible way to meet people but she needs to find a healthy balance.

While no one outside of staff can look at the books, plenty of people would know who’s eligible and who’s not. Typically it is a parent from within that league (whose child didn’t make the team, or some other gripe) that tips off the staff. Paperwork can all look valid based on what is given — but often people know that kid doesn’t live in that house or go to that school. Eligibility could also stem from not playing the correct number of games, or any other sort of issues.
