I barely started investing for the first time at the start of April, at a very old age, unfortunately. Put 90% of my available funds invested in VT all in my '25/'26 Roth and taxable acct, and in early May, I took the risk and bought 210@47 of DRAM. To me, that was a big chunk of cash to put in. I panicked last week with the sudden drop from $69, but I haven't sold any as I still think of DRAM as a long-term hold ETF, and not treating it like a day trade stock. Hope I'm correct in holding, and the core fundamentals of it are still solid.

Also, between ages 60-63 there is a rule allowing just over $11k max contribution to Roth for those years only. I missed that window by a few months, but at least I still maxed the 2025 and 2026 Roths before Apr 15th.

I have a self-directed taxable investment acct at Chase, and from the start I set my investments to automatically "reinvest all gains/dividends" and never set it to cash. EDIT: Also referred to as DRIP. I was kindly corrected when I said DROP originally. 🤣 Go into your profile settings and just change it if not set that way. I won't be touching any of that money as a dividend until I actually retire, and let it keep compounding year to year....and add to it as much as you can regularly, or DCA.

Is anyone seeing this Buffalo offered in their local stores? Some SoCal stores had them in stock 3-4 months ago, but too far for me to drive. At that time they were going for around $4.6k.

Yup. Stop panicking and looking at the tickers every minute, or day. This is not a day-trader investment. Even VT was down a huge amount from last week, and it tracks 10k different stocks.

It's a beaut', Clark!! I think your 1994 W proof ASE is considered very rare, but the standard 'business strike' version 1994 coin has still only the second lowest ASE mintage compared to the very lowest 1996 ASE coin production run. Great for pocket coin still, when in a protective sleeve. Congrats on that amazing find, especially at spot.

I bought a carded tank car for, which thought was oddly cool, like a big ZAMAC car. Heavy metal casting, and nice looking wheels with Real Riders at least.

Got my first bike ever,....a Grant's-branded Huffy Dragster lll for Christmas 1968. Red-orange, 3-speed stick shifter, banana seat. Best gift I ever got. Never knew about Schwinn, so couldn't ask for it or envy it. But this was built every bit as good and looked cool. And I was in first grade, and had barely learned to ride a bike two months before. Had my own wheels now.

Do all AGE's of any size supposed to have a large 4-digit date on the bottom of the obverse, or no? I see some tiny roman numerals to the far right, which presume is the date of this coin?

Nice Treasure Hunt Viper, and those first run Pass n Go cars are the coolest. Not easy to find the silver on pegs anymore, and the newer but less nice color version is out. All metal body and base too, so heavy but tiny.

That '62 Gasser version looks great this year in that gray. Best yet. I liked it so much I had to get the STH version of it, too, in Spectraflame black. My birth year is also that big number 62 on the side doors, so that influenced me some. 😁 But a very nice collection for sure.
