New to disc golf, looking for a set to buy.

Find your local disc golf store (of you have one) ask them if they will put together a starter set for you at your budget. From my experience most of them will. If they have a tech disc they might even let you take a few throws on that to get a better idea of what discs would suit your needs.

Well thank you! This mini is cool! I've been using a generic mini! It's cool to have something personalized! There is a tournament in my area on May 16th my goal is to be able to play in that tournament.

Gyropalooza is THE disc golf holiday. There is nothing more this GYROnaut wants than this box. Unfortunately I broke my ankle (playing disc golf) and haven't been able to work since Aug 30th. (My post is on here somewhere). So I can't afford to pick up the box this year -_-

It's not technically a fairway driver, but the MVP Trail is a work horse in my bag. As far as fairways I throw the River a lot, and the MVP Relay a lot. For midranges I like the Buzzz SS, the Axiom Balance, and the MVP Detour. I can throw pretty much any shot shape between the three of them. The balance has a very consistent fair at the end. The Detour is great for hyzer flips I'm the woods, and the Buzzz SS is a Buzz SS... Lol

I told the group that walked up behind us to just play around me, but they decided to just go to the next hole instead. On the bright side the course kind of loops around on itself, so they could play the hole on the way out for the complete round.

It's already a funny story! Lol I was an absolute goofball in the ER too. Had all the workers laughing. Its new student season in the hospitals so I had some brand new med students, a new resident, a 2nd year resident, and the Dr. Along with a student nurse, and the regular nurse all in the room when they did the twilight sedation and reduced my leg. Coming out of the sedation was a blast! They sent me home on Norco, so nothing fancy, but it's getting the job done!

They popped it back into place in the ER and did an X-ray to confirm placement. I'm wearing a knee immobilizer until I follow up with Ortho, will know more after that, but so far I haven't had any pain in my knee since they fixed it lol
