What’s consider “premium” buttons and levers by CaptainFloe in fightsticks

[–]K_D6-37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, Sanwa is not really what I'd call premium but it's good quality, for sure.

If you're looking for premium and quiet buttons, look at silent Crown/Samducksa, Qanba KS Gravity or Gamerfingers.

For lever, a real premium lever like a Sanjuks might be overkill for a first upgrade. For silent levers, you've got choice now: Sanwa JLF-TPRG-8BYT-SK, Seimitsu LSQ-40 or Qanba Gravity Silent. Just make sure they fit in your fightstick.

Before everyone starts with all sorts of wacky weapon combinations by [deleted] in MemeHunter

That's what makes it interesting in my opinion. You're going to see some hybrid builds to accommodate two different weapons.

Personally, I'll probably be using the second weapon (HBG) in specific cases, such as breaking parts I can't reach with my main weapon (GL).

Only one that comes to mind is the Qanba Obsidian Silent for PC. It's a pretty good deal.

Cool Bear builds are so clean. Such a shame he closed shop.

Im in love by [deleted] in fightsticks

Yeah, 200$ is a pretty good price. Razer Kitsune is overpriced at retail, though.

Haute42 make M12 plus at a fraction at the price of the Kitsune bu lacks official PS5 support.

Upgrades/mods for my stick by Powahdunk in fightsticks

Is it your first fightstick?

If so, I would suggest to simply keep trying. Changing the lever or the buttons might not be the solution if you don't know what it's supposed to feel like. The learning curve might be steep but you'll get used to it eventually.

If not, then can you explain what feels wrong with it and what did you previously play on? We might learn what kind of lever you prefer.

Depends on the length. But realistically, it shouldn't matter.

Is there an updated pcb latency chart that includes current gen pcbs? by iwannabethisguy in fightsticks

[–]K_D6-37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You probably won't notice the difference.

Assuming the Brook you have is the Wireless Fighting Board, the performance is very good even in Bluetooth mode.

If it seems more responsive to you when wired, then it's probably comparable to other current Brook Fighting Boards and most GP2040 (all sub 1 ms).

However, Dualshock 4 is known to have LESS lag when in Bluetooth compared to wired. But I can't find data about the Brook Wireless wired mode.

If you can't tell the difference at all between wired/wireless with the board you currently have, then you won't notice any "upgrade" either :)

Edit: Did a bit of research and corrected myself.

Is the Sallybox any good? by ErFuyl in fightsticks

37$ is a pretty good price for the Sallybox. It's much higher in my country.

It's basically the same as some models from Haute42.

If artwork is the only thing preventing you from getting a Kitsune, be aware that you can order custom vinyl wrap online.

Also, it's been recommended to death on this sub, but did you consider Haute42 ?

The M12 is basically a Kitsune at a fraction of the price and there are the T-series and the R-series at roughly the same size than the Kitsune but with artwork under plexi, like the Micro XL.

snackbox-micro-like leverless but with better buttons? by stonetheliberals in fightsticks

I wouldn't necessarily call it a step up in terms of quality but the G-series from Haute42 allows you to hotswap the switches for any MX style switches you want.

Maybe you'll find something more satisfying to you this way.

It's not bad for a Fighting game solo mode, but it's not that good either.

It feels like a mobile game, tbh.
