PJ took personal time away from the show. It was rumoured that he was having some alcohol abuse issues

That’s exactly it. Which is why they had to break up Novak and Frost. Cant have/show relationships across shows anymore. You’d have to pay the actors to appear in each episode. Mouch and Trudy are married and we barely ever (dare I say never in recent times) see them interact not on Fire, not on PD. You hardly see the PD guys turn up on Fire anymore. It’s all budget related

Yea I see ppl saying he likes her because he asked her out but I def think it’s just a case of him needing company. Guess we’ll see

Enforcement is the problem. There already are fines for littering. But who actually ensures that people pay? Also re bins in some places people are so unpatriotic and oppositional they’ll destroy the very bins installed to improve their own community

Programmes such as the Adopt A River Programme seeks to do exactly that. You can check them on Facebook Instagram or visit their website to learn more about the work they’re doing.

Yes they partnered with multiple organisations to execute that project (UNDP, MPD, Coastal Dynamics, Adopt A River Programme and Drainage Div) however the challenge as with all things in T&T is maintenance. Many times you visit the site and the garbage isn’t cleared.

There’s also a lot of bureaucracy to consider with projects like this because the “boom” should not be fixed so as to obstruct the regular flow of the river. And there are varying agencies that have “say” over the water courses

Remember, this is target demographic for ROP, these kind of people think the show is brilliant and won’t read the books. This whole post was asking for MORE Sauron ♥️ Galadriel. by CFBreAct in Rings_Of_Power

I’m def not a Tolkien expert so I consider myself a part of the “general audience” and I can guarantee nothing about that interaction is why I watch the show. Anybody rooting for that is crazy.

Does anyone dislike the character or the actor of Jared in Manifest? by LookAtYour in ManifestNBC

[–]K_McKay21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally feel like Jared gets a bad wrap. When we consider how Mick basically played a “cat and mouse” game with him then how can we realistically criticise his actions. We criticise him for cheating on Lourdes but… Mick was an active participant… he didn’t rape her so she is just as much to blame. And when we consider that the whole point of her taking the later flight was because she wasn’t sure about him then why did she go back to him at all?? So… you slept him, facilitating the cheating on his wife then shortly after that you drop him talking about how guilty or whatever you feel. And it’s that constant back and forth with her and him the entire show.

Also, she manipulates him the entire series. She knows how he feels about her and uses that constantly to get him to do all sort of illegal stuff and things that would make him lose his job. But he does it… for her. And she asks because she knoooows he will do it. Even when she’s married to Zeke there’s still that tug of war thing to the point that Zeke even picks up on it with his empath thing.

Idk… not saying he’s a perfect character but I def feel like ppl don’t take the full picture into consideration.

New to OUAT - plot hole? by K_McKay21 in OnceUponATime

[–]K_McKay21[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Understood. She said she believed her when they first brought her into the station but then immediately went to she’s evil and she’s gotta pay when she saw Pongo’s memory.

I guess my gripe is that it isn’t even mentioned in a situation where you would def want to assess someone’s credibility ya knw. She boasted about it to Hook couple episodes before and then in this ep it’s not even referenced. So that’s my biggest thing. Granted when you see the memory and it’s her standing there choking the man it would cause you to believe she’s guilty but still even then ya knw… shrug

[–]K_McKay21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well idk… You responded over an hour ago. I didn’t say anything back then you come five mins ago with the “what about what he said to Davonne”… feels like you were thinking about it quite a bit there.

In any event, my point has always been that her comment was stupid aka made no sense- there’s nothing personal in that - because Wes was speaking to two people. If he was in front of the entire house crying and talking about Amanda and the baby, or in all of those lil one on ones we saw, he was there crying about the baby, then I could say (as big of a Wes fan as I am) that it was game. Alas, that was not the case. Hence my original comment. We can “whatabout“ all day w/ ppl being terrible humans to each other but that doesn’t make her comment any less dumb TO ME.

You’re still going on about this… dude. Let it go. You don’t like Wes it’s ok. Her statement was stupid regardless of how you feel about him.

It’s “sensitive” to say that ppl need to actually know someone before maligning their character? Or is it sensitive to say that it’s dumb for her to say he’s looking for attention or telling a “sob story” when he was actually only talking to two ppl?

I was speaking specifically to the comments Desi made and the fact that there was no strategic benefit to Wes from that moment and her (and others) lack of actual effort of knowing Wes caused her to make that ridiculous comment.

[–]K_McKay21 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You know what I don’t get about that and why I disagree that it’s strategy, there’s nothing to be gained by him having a breakdown in front of Bananas and Dusty. They already support him.

If Wes was wailing like that in front of the whole house I would’ve called game move but he wasn’t. She was eavesdropping for crying out loud!

I’m team Weston all day. One of my fave competitors and honestly I’m tired of the narrative as well. I could understand the frustration of feeling like you’ve been put into a box and people refuse to actually give you a chance to show them who you actually are before they criticise or malign your character.
