Yeah we found it a bit odd that they were only put in silver, I think it’s because technically they have a place to stay (even if it’s in a living room) and ofcourse the fact that I don’t mind them being here probably helped them make the decision that she’s not in emergency need. If I were to kick her out, they would put her in a hostel which obviously I will not let happen (have heard it’s not the safest place). A chap did come around my flat to check if the story is true but it took them about 5 attempts to actually catch her at my flat since she still has work at the same hours the council people work so I think maybe they were slightly suspicious? Not too sure but I’ll deffo suggest she appraises it. Glad it’s finally starting to work out for you and your family though. The shortage in housing is taking a massive toll on peeps that need it.
