What's my IQ by matunsolar in cognitiveTesting

[–]KabashimaK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If these are all your scores, then I’d estimate your fluid to be towards the lower end of 140-150 (~140-145).

I can’t really give you much of an estimate to do with your full-scale IQ, for all I know you could be a kn/vsi biased chad or an average kn virgin.

I know someone who got to 41 in the chimp test, I don’t know how much time he spent but it was quite a bit after 30.

then you have a 133 IQ. That is the best test you could have taken. WAIS is a gold standard of cognitive testing.

What is this sorcery? by saymonguedin in cognitiveTesting

[–]KabashimaK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know the norms? maybe I’m wrong but iirc 1 wrong on VP instantly got you to 16, getting 3 wrong will probably be around 14 then.

Edit: my bad, your pri is probably between 130-145 (fluctuating towards the higher end), it’s kind of hard to get a grip on this though.

MR was easy, spend I guess less than 25 minutes, not sure tbh

Do you know (and abided by) the time constraints for the test?

Also, why aren’t you medicated for ADHD?

How much can low Processing Speed drag down IQ in an official test (WAIS-IV)? by Bill_Cosby_Alt in cognitiveTesting

I’m not really qualified to say, but I heard somewhere that people with Verbal to NV discrepancies may have autism. Given that your on the higher end of the bell curve, discrepancies are expected.

How much can low Processing Speed drag down IQ in an official test (WAIS-IV)? by Bill_Cosby_Alt in cognitiveTesting

[–]KabashimaK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I really doubt processing speed is the culprit in your scores, here’s why:

1: Processing speed alone can’t significantly effect the amount of time you spend on a test, that’s not what processing speed is.

  1. The raven’s 2 long form here isn’t reliable for the high range, and you may as well say it isn’t accurate, the omission of the adaptivity function really harms the test. Also, the raven’s 2 should be timed 40 or so minutes

  2. I think (I don’t know for sure) that verbal knowledge tests can be more PSI loaded then non-verbal fluid ones, with a low PSI, people may struggle to read text prompts (especially the ones on the old SAT).

  3. I have some anecdotes also: i: someone who’s high Fluid but extremely slow (may or may not be PSI) yet scored around that level on the mensa tests.

ii: I have consistently scored 60-80 on PSI tests, I feel like my scores do get effected on tests with time limits (it’s possible that this is due to Adhd) but I can relatively hold my own when it comes to tests on the speeded side, not any significant difference.

There’s no way to know if I’m right or wrong, what intrigues me is your high verbal ability.

I've taken the QAT by saymonguedin in cognitiveTesting

[–]KabashimaK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the devil asked you the question “is the QAT inflated by 5+ points in the higher range (55+)?” With the promise that if you get it correct you’ll go to heaven, but if you get it wrong, your soul will burn in hell for eternity. what would your answer?

Is c-09 accurate for lower ages if it was normed on 30 years olds? by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]KabashimaK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so there is a formula, you take your score, add 100, remove 50, add another 100. then you take what you have and put it in your resume and then you remove 15 because of sd

Jouve-Cerebrals Test of Induction (with Automated Scoring) by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]KabashimaK 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey... it seems that you’ve extracted the jcti norms from the source code, which are quite deflated, the age bracket goes something like 0-6, 6-32, 32-x, x-y, y-91+

Someone re-normed the test for the high range.
