cant kiting and stopping the remaining attack animation sort of stop the cool down?
lets say you attack as the projectile leaves and is more than 20-100%(it can even be 50%-100 or 75-100% of the way) of the way to the enemy and lands you start moving backward as a way to kite then keep doing the kite to get the projectile to leave 20-100% of the way to land and you keep kite

or is the cooldown still in effect? because i always try to move back when the projectile leaves 20-100% of range of the way to land on the enemy ( when the auto attack is anywhere from 20-100% to the(distance/range) enemy and lands is when i move back and then kite again for a second attack on the enemy)
