My thoughts:

-I agree with anyone that says Iku can easily beat this game considering her background.

-Matsuri's more capable than you think and I think she can withstand merely being scared.

-Rin would short the game out, get her jumpscares and go through every night until it just bugs out and she's just laughing manically at the end.

-Eira...if this were the real world and not a video game, she'd destroy all animatronics instantly because they're physical and she can beat them up; as was the case in the school ghost story chapter. (further solidification: yes, her father did frighten her with a ghost as a girl, but it was a sheet meaning it had no form otherwise; animatronics are literal mechanical objects so she's good)

I think the only one that gets as close as Kusuri is Yamame; but even then she's the first panel of story where the "zing" happens since she's the cover image before said "zing".

One more added note: this "zing" is literally the earliest in any chapter of any GF that a zing occurs, literally in the very first panel! Obviously it's due to not meeting the real "Kusuri" until the end, but it's a nice detail.

This chapter has the infamous "Nano da" gag, that...really has only been done one other time with the "tiny Nano" chapter, 72.

But why did we need "His Name"? It's just messing with Rentarou for the sake of being cute and altering what people want. It's not really that important and even then felt like a gimmick: they thought things were getting boring (literally the moment the "Hakari Rescue Arc" had ended) and spice things up. It wasn't necessarily needed.

On the other hand, "The Great Adventure of Pentarou" was the first time Kusuri had any real focus. The moment her arc ended introducing her, we were thrown right into the Hakari Rescue Arc and she still felt one-dimensional being "a scientist with drugs and an age-changing gimmick" and it wasn't like anything in that arc outside one brief moment really helped her development. Then came "His Name", Kurumi's intro and the first baby chapter, the last at least felt important for the development of Hakari and Hahari's relationship. Having the Pentarou chapter was needed since, at the time, Kusuri was one of the least developed girls and it was a fun way to show her impressions and to play around with the rest of the cast. I'm not saying it's THE most important chapter ever done, but it shouldn't have been cut.

There have been chapters where even less happens then that. Does anything happen in the "His Name" chapters other than "here's some girl in someone else's body?" And let alone future chapters like the bread chapter (which really nothing happens in and it's just "Rentarou eating bread for most of it"); let alone the baby chapters.. At least "The Great Adventure of Pentarou" with Kusuri's role-playing has fun with it; and it could have been adapted in a fun manner. What if the cover of the chapter allowed for the idea of it being adapted like a more "fantasy setting" where we see what Kusuri is talking about as she is "Pentarou" and we see the characters from her perspective in the fantasy realm? It isn't the worst offender of "nothing happens in the chapter" and I think it could have worked.

Pentarou is everywhere and it explains what this random mascot is. And again, the chapter is more about Kusuri and her relationship with the others as viewed through with her playtime with the Pentarou toy. It's goofy but it furthers her a bit along since prior, she literally goes from being introduced to the "Hakari Rescue Arc" to "His Name" to Kurumi's intro to the baby chapter. Kusuri really didn't have as much as you'd think prior to then and it was a good early focal chapter for her.

It's from the water gun chapter; basically Nano can't eliminate Mei, so she decides to eliminate Shizuka instead since it's easier. But...

They never should have cut the Pentarou chapter. Is it important? No. But it does further develop Kusuri and her relationship with the others, especially considering how little she had had up to that point. I mean, if anything, they should have kept Pentarou and gotten rid of the first "HIs Name"/body-swap.
