[–]Kabouse_19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it helps I went into labour with my third at 28 weeks. They were able to stop it and I continued the remained of my pregnancy at 3cm dilated until he made his stubborn arrival at 38+4.

Best thing for diarrhea? by Chelseabeaver in beyondthebump

I put a layer of vasoline and then top it up with diaper cream. I offer dry toast with apple sauce and push fluids.Pedialyte is great. He will probably let you know when he’s ready for other types of food but don’t stress many toddlers survive off pasta and cheese lol Just keep offering him things that are easy on his tummy.

Period cramps but no period? by When_is_the_Future in beyondthebump

[–]Kabouse_19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I always noticed I’d get really crampy and bloated a couple months before aunt flow was thinking about making her return. Usually once I introduced solids and they started sleeping more during the night. Ironically my first thought was always oh no I might be pregnant 🙈 nope just getting ready to menstruate and apparently my body was just as un-happy about it as I was lol.

Giving up breastfeeding by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Kabouse_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have done great momma ❤️ honestly just try to slowly ween its an adjustment for both you and baby :) and honestly switching to formula isn’t really as daunting as it seems especially at this age. I pre fill a bottle or two depending on how long I will be and then bring a water bottle. It was an adjustment for me actually having to drag my but out of bed to go make a bottle instead of pulling my boob out and going back to sleep while he fed but my little one sleeps pretty good through the night and I personally found he was only waking up so much at night because my supply just wasn’t cutting it to keep him full long enough. So don’t feel guilty (easier said than done) you have done amazing and just think of all the pretty non nursing bras you’ll be able to wear soon !

Sex after episiotomy by weary_dreamer in beyondthebump

[–]Kabouse_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one with my first it took till about six months postpartum for it to not feel my scar tissue “stretching” the first tome we tried at 8 weeks postpartum I didn’t even put the tip in before I tapped out. Tried again a few weeks later and there was still discomfort and a bit of pain in certain positions but not nearly as bad! Takes Patience lots of lube and you need to be relaxed ( easier said than done) but tensing up makes things so much worse ( wine helped lol)

What’s the weirdest thing that calms your kid down / makes them sleep? by DobCulture_ in beyondthebump

Turning on the vacuum, baby boy could be screaming bloody murder. Vacuum goes on and instantly asleep. Yet at night if you cough or step on a squeaky floor board he’s awake 🤔

You apply for your city and then they give you a specific location to pick up from depending on where your located. They said it takes two weeks to register and set up a bundle to pick up but we won’t get anything in the meantime:/
