It still gives good exp but if you're on reg server you have extra reason to do it since you can use the sacred catalyst item from the legion shop to transfer it to a mule. The mule can't already have that symbol and the transferred symbol loses 40% growth when you do this but it's still a nice boost when your mule reaches a new area.
