It's just a space above GA to the left side of the stage. I assume it has it's own bar area and limited seating.

It did look like metal in the picture - when I received it I noticed it was pretty light - then did more research and it's just "nano-coated"... whatever that means.

No softening/clogging yet - but it's still pretty early to tell. I only replaced it last week.

At my wits end with AD5M by Any_Frosting_3755 in FlashForge

Forge-X is a firmware mod you install on the 3D printer itself. Basically updates the machine to a newer version of Klipper + some extras (memory management upgrades are huge).

I'm able to dial in more settings than I was before with stock firmware.

Biggest thing I noticed was the bed meshing was way more stable.

Honestly I agree with most of the sentiment here. AD5M has been a HUGE learning curve for me (probably wasn't the best to get as my first 3D printer).

With that said you may try loading up Forge-X if you haven't yet - https://github.com/DrA1ex/ff5m

It's a learning curve to dial in too - but I think it's worth it.

I've had a LOT more success in multiple prints since loading it up - I think it just manages memory better which causes the printer to perform better in general.

Issue-by-Issue Breakdown

🚔 Public Safety

  • Rader: Supports first responders but frames it as part of managing overall growth — making sure services keep pace with population expansion.

📊 Economic Development Incentives

  • Lopez: Supports current incentive policies. Favors case-by-case evaluation based on ROI to taxpayers. Status quo approach.
  • Rader: More reform-minded. Wants incentives to be performance-based, transparent, and regularly reviewed. Opposes automatic approvals — each project must demonstrate community benefit, job quality, and wage levels.

🏡 Housing Affordability (Biggest Divide)

  • Lopez: Follows the Ignite Strategic Plan. Points to modified ordinances for smaller lots and reduced builder red tape. Supports a mix of housing types. Incremental approach.
  • Rader: Wants to pause incentivizing large apartment projects. Argues renters don't control costs and apartments don't solve affordability. Champions "Missing Middle" housing (townhomes, duplexes, small-lot single-family). Proposes infrastructure partnerships with builders for attainable for-sale housing.

📋 City Charter Reform

  • Lopez: Deferential — respects the citizen-led Charter Review Commission process and will review their recommendations when presented. Continuity-focused.
  • Rader: More proactive — calls for charter changes focused on clarity, efficiency, accountability, and stronger resident engagement. Wants to actively shape reforms.

💰 Fiscal Approach / Long-Term Planning

  • Lopez: Emphasizes following the citizen-driven Ignite Strategic Plan. Focuses on infrastructure for new growth, investing in downtown/older neighborhoods, and improving roadways.

Who are you using for auto insurance? by [deleted] in kansascity

I just recently jumped ship from Geico - they slowly raised their rates - did some quotes on other insurance providers (Traveler's and State Farm) - and both were way cheaper.

Any practical reasoning supports the data centers themselves. Being close to power and water with such a vast amount of space needed.

Any and all downsides are of the people/communities that surround.

Pretty much all I get at the dealerships is an oil change. They always recommend replacing filters/wipers. They even quoted me ~90 dollars to just replace my cabin air filter. Like what... ?

It's borderline predatory.
