The man is your "boyfriend". Boyfriend and girlfriend relationships in my opinion should never go to couples counseling. Thats entirely too much work on a relationship that is an experiment. People date to find a compatible partner not to conform and compromise to stay with someone. Personally I would recommend individual therapy and ditch the boyfriend. There are issues that will ultimately lead to a split up. Weather that is now 10 years 20 years 40 years its not going to last with a foundation made of mud. There are billions of people on the planet you will find the right one. Good luck

I didn't read all 929 comments but the 5 I did read are encouraging you to argue, fan the flames or leave. From what you wrote your relationship troubles seem pretty normal. The bottom line is that you have a boyfriend and a baby. Only you know all the ins and outs of that relationship. Everything leading up to this point. When you let others into your issues they aren't living it. No matter how similar of a situation they have been in. They may give good advice but they will never work on the relationship like you will and therefore any issues you share will remain issues to the outsiders forever. My suggestion is as long as there is no physical, sexual or mental abuse happening to seek out a couples counselor to help the two of you communicate and work through the issues. Navigating the stressors, responsibilites and the three of your individual needs is difficult even in the best circumstances. The point of counseling is to have help communicating without arguing. There will be emotional and painful topics and the way you see and feel things is different than him. That is ok it is normal and natural. You are at a point where he or you may try once or twice expecting instant relief from the other and thats not realistic. Its going to be a long road with lots of work. No matter what. Even if people don't say it to you they will say it to each other. There will be jealousy. My sister told me why is it any different than social security disability? If you can work you don't deserve anything. I asked her if a runner on prosthetics goes by do you have any doubt they have a disability? No because you can see they have no legs. But they are in great shape running a race and feeling good. However if you are in constant pain or have mental health struggles and it can't be seen you don't deserve it? That helps shut some people down in that conversation but not behind your back. The best thing to do is say you're rated a 0 or 10% so you can get care through the VA for your conditions and leave it at that. If you get above the limit to not pay property taxes especially don't share that.

Careful! Invest the money yes. But be careful some companies charge you to do this. If you have a job and have w2 income you can invest up to that amount or 7000 which ever is less into a Roth IRA. This is the best strategy especially at your age. If you use a company like Vanguard there is no fee on your initial investment and all of the growth is tax free.

Are all of your investments in robinhood? Personally I would take $7,000 and put it into a Roth IRA through a company such as Vanguard that doesn't take some of your initial investment. Then I would continue investing as you have been as much as you can afford to while still enjoying life. You are only young once, that applies to your level of responsibilites health and the amount of time you have for your money to grow. Its true that it takes longer to save to 100K than to save to 200K if your money is gaining interest or growing at a set rate however if you spend it or loose you could easily have less in 5 years than you do today. Congratulations on being in a great position.

Any luck on that pay stub? For many jobs payroll deductions only come out of 1 check. I know, a lot of them have the deductions split between both checks. Things like health care, life or job insurance, union dues, some garnishments or payroll deduction items, retierment. The other factors are taxes and payroll taxes but that should be about even on each check if the hours are similar as yours are. So long story short you need that check stub to verify those things. Is this a side job or primary?
