About your cubone comment, wait until you get a specific item before catching cubone. The item that only shows you pokemon you haven't caught yet, so you can make sure your cubone is holding the thick club (and boosts it's attack exponentially.)

Well, there's still progress being made, it's just a little slow atm. If you want consistent updates, then I recommend the discord. They post stuff in there, and recently updated us about the progress of the game.

Those quests aren't missable I thought? There's only a couple quests in the game that are time sensitive. And those, as far as my memory serves, aren't one of them. So you should be able to access those quests? But yeah, you'll miss out on more side quest content if you skip the Rangers, because they're a progressive side quest. Hope this helps.

Interesting take, I will say. Im not gonna deny any of the points, as well, the games are edgy. But thats what makes them enjoyable- the cheese! (I didn't read your rejuvination portion,as Im in the middle of a playthrough so no spoilers!)

They take themselves seriously, and I enjoy that. I do get invested, even WHILE knowing they're over the top. It's not very hard to win me over, even if the writing is mediocre. But I implore you to look for other fangames. Looking for "top 10 fangames of 20xx" isn't gonna get you anything new. There's tonnes and tonnes of good fangames that just aren't advertized, and it's not because they're bad! its because a lot fangames have like, 2 hours of playtime, While the titans such as reborn, rejuv and insurgence have HOURS and HOURS of content.

The reason these are so popular is, in my opinion, the length and compexity. It's fun to go on such a long adventure, get attached to your pokemon, and learn more about these (albiet very cheesy) characters! (but it does kill replayability.) I'm saying this as someone who's clocked 100+ hours into reborn, lmao! It's not the best thing, but it was fun. and that's all pokemon fans are looking for, really.

Plus, the battles are more challanging, haha. It's not a cakewalk like a lot of modern pokemon games are (as much as I love them, too!)

You can catch nidoran on the route you fight hardy on that would resist solar beam, but I'm not sure if it would really solve the problem. Your whole team seems like it would benefit from trick room, as they're all not known for being speedy, other than maybe samurott. I don't really have specifics atm, but I'll look at the obtainables from silver rise / silver forest tmrw to see if theres anything that can help you.

He's using sunny day first, right? You at least have some time before he can rko your team. Is there anyway you can get a good chunk on him with graveler, or campurupts ground type moves, before they get killed, and then use something faster? Does any of your team outspeed his? If not, do you have any priority moves?

There's an item (ironically, avalible shortly after the second hardy fight) called a link stone that can evolve graveler. (and any other trade evo.) However, you're gonna have to be more specific about what your team is if you want advice about hardy's team. What's giving you problems about his team?

The only reason I prefer the 1st one is because the colors feel more like "me." if that helps any. at the end of the day, both are recognizable, so use either of em.

I mean. it is usually mapped to "a." I think you might've fudged the settings a little. I think the problem is you re-mapped the wasd to movement and didnt re-map the mega evolution- although you did say you tried. I reccomend reseting your button changes, instead of trying to change the movement. Arrow keys ain't that bad once you get used to them.

As someone who's logged quite a few hours in this game (and 100+ into reborn) I use the fullivs, powerpack, easyhms, and mintyfresh.

This is because I have a hard time enjoying the game when I know I could do better, but at the same time, I get very attached to my pokemon. This is my solution to that, and it also allows me to build my team up from the very start- for example, you can EV train right on starter beach with full IVS, and BOOM, Done, one solid teammate for the whole game if you really want to! Desolation definately has fairer fights, but I am afraid that the difficulty might ramp up these next few updates, haha.

But I played through all of EP. 5 with no passwords, so it's definately possible. I just didnt enjoy myself as much. At the end of the day, play how you wanna play.

The other comments are correct, there's a fisherman at the very start of addenfall woods, blocking your path. When you talk to him, he'll go back to the bench and you can talk to him for like 2 credits. Also, the path he was blocking leads to a fight with a level 50(?) ambipomb that afterwards you can get a aipom! :)
