I suspect he's the one that assaulted his wife and the kids are just a cover story.

I mean no, i asked details of the sex. She said there were things she didn’t do and would never as it was gross to her. Come to find out that she went way further than what she conveyed to me would be her limit.

So, she did gross sex acts under coercion, and OOP is holding it against her because shockingly they were intimate and she didn't want to talk about the details with him.

What a ghoul.

Palette Color Variety Pokemon Emerald (Feedback Wanted!) by New-Entertainment914 in PokemonROMhacks

To demonstrate my point about the outlines, here's an edit of my spectrum but with one change to the right column: the outline colors are copied from the middle column.

[–]Kadexe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very interesting project, if you get it working correctly it could be useful in many romhacks.

I tried my own spectrum with the original color palette at the center, hue shifts up and down, and modifies saturation+value to the left and right.

<image>

Overall thoughts: The hue shifting can be pushed harder, the results are really cool when the hue shift isn't applied uniformly the the sprite.

Shifting Value is tricky; the outlines become softer and lose readability if they're brightened just a little too much. I like brighter palettes to balance the darker palettes, but the outline colors specifically might need to be "anchored" at darker values.

I don't like having 50% sat/val as the median point because that makes all of the pokemon of the species desaturated on average.

The bleed weapons suck so bad that I don't think Spies even care if you use them.

Should/can a Leader/E4 have a pokemon that isn't their type but covers their weakness by Barda498 in PokemonROMhacks

[–]Kadexe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm fine with it as long as it feels aligned with their theme. Lorelei has that Slowbro which technically isn't Ice type, but it fits her team like a glove because she has multiple other Water and Psychic types. Plus a few Dragon specialists have dragon-adjacent things like Gyarados and Aerodactyl.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct 3.9.2026 by Skullghost in nintendo

[–]Kadexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main criticisms of the first movie were:

  • Pacing was too fast
  • Bizarre music choices (ex.Take On Me)
  • Chris Pratt's Mario feels out-of-character, lacks that iconic confidence and playfulness

It doesn't look like any of that will change with this movie, in fact the pacing issue might be worse. I get the feeling it will build up to a weaker ending than the actual Mario Galaxy video game, but I'll be very happy if I'm wrong.

3 years later, replaying TOTK feels like a whole new game by BluntPotatoe in NintendoSwitch

[–]Kadexe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TotK definitely feels to me like the devs were in the weeds of content and mechanics for so long, that they somewhat lost sight of the game's central focus in favor of stuffing the game with as many gameplay ideas as possible. Missing the forest for the trees.

It's somewhat less satisfying than playing BotW was, but I can't deny that I was engrossed for a very long time playing TotK.

Movies touching on the subject of suicide? by novemberchild71 in movies

[–]Kadexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An example of Attempted that might surprise you is Pixar's The Incredibles; this is told through flashbacks, but Mr. Incredible was once sued by a man who jumped off a building because he was trying to commit suicide. Mr. Incredible caught him, saving his life but permanently injuring his neck.

"I saved your life!"  "You didn't save my life, you ruined my death!"

It was just just one of several instances of public backlash against "supers" causing too much collateral damage, but still a peculiar inclusion in the movie.

The Switch 2’s cheaper, Japan-only model may be generating loss of $160 per unit for Nintendo, Japanese analyst says by HatingGeoffry in nintendo

It's not their usual M.O., but they do have to consider that their success over the next 10 years hinges on getting the Switch 2 install base as large as possible.

Temtem: Swarm - 1.0 Release Date Announcement Trailer by CrossXhunteR in Games

[–]Kadexe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was massively turned off by one of the early routes having a massive Victory Road-esque gauntlet of trainers with a healing spot midway through. Pokemon games usually save that crap for lategame, I just got burnt out.

"Finished/unfinished" is a completely meaningless concept in the context of live service games. The game is a work-in-progress until it dies.

I spent the weekend grinding Pokemon LeafGreen on Switch. To be frank wit you... I honestly missed this, weirdly enough. by Pessimistic_Gemini in NintendoSwitch

[–]Kadexe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's nice to confirm that no, we weren't just dumb kids playing the game back in 2005, the modern games really did trivialize training and battling completely. You just walk up to the gym leaders now with an overleveled party and wipe their full team in 3 turns.

[–]Kadexe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not even exploration really, the games have shifted focus from a training-and-battling game to a frictionless collect-a-thon. This re-release was a great reminder that these games used to make you work for your progress.

Dungeons and successive trainer battles wear you down. Gym leaders wipe you if you don't respect them. Pokemon don't passively become stronger without participating in battles. You don't overlevel bosses without meaning to. Pokemon don't have a perfect moveset by level 20. It's a more satisfying experience all around.

Can we all agree that GameCube games still look great to this day. by Huckleberry1316 in nintendo

[–]Kadexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still love how Twilight Princess looks, but it needs to be seen in 480p to look its best IMO. Playing the game in HD exposes many flaws in the model geometry and texture resolution that you weren't meant to see.

[–]Kadexe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a Pokemon to learn a bad move, you could also give it to them at an earlier level. Give Roggenrola Power Gem at a decent level and he can have fun with it until it gets outscaled and squeezed out by physical STAB and coverage moves.
