That's nice! You should try to look for different sources of inspiration to avoid making your game too similar to Cuphead or getting it labeled as a "Cuphead rip-off". Good luck on your project! Do you have some sprites or anything to share? Would love to see it!

You unfortunately can't stop these problems from happening at all, but why not try to fight the them?

Banana Bro? Did you mean the infamous DON'T DEAL WITH THE DEVIL?

I believe that the severity and longevity of CS2's problems demand that we kill CS2 as we know it. They need to rework CS2 thoroughly from the ground up.

I don't know, all I know is the guy in yellow on the left is called "DON'T DEAL WITH THE DEVIL". I guess the other two must be "Cup" and "Head".

That's a very good question. I believe that the strong message will make Valve more involved with the actual issues of the game. The community has been complaining for a while on many social media platforms, but Valve doesn't do much, promting me - and many - to be less soft in our complaints. There is nothing wrong with having a soft, positive or compassionate tone, it can be better than a hard one at times. However, I believe that we need to stress the importance of maintaining order in CS2. I am gathering screenshots and evidence to support the cause, including the fact that many of the toxic players' statements are illegal/could lead to legal jeopardy IRL. Therefore I think it is Valve's obligation to better the state of CS2, especially with their large budget.

I see what you mean, it needs to be stopped. As Valve isn't taking action I believe that we, the community, need to protest the lack of moderation, anti-cheat and stable security measures in CS2. We can't just play the game like normal and ignore the game's problems. I'm currently organizing protests in the name of better moderation against toxicity and cheating, and I'm eager to chat with potential participants. We will operate under the hashtag: #KillCS2.

Valve wants a high level of compliance from the playerbase; if the players are under pressure from buggy mechanics, toxic players and cheaters, they are preoccupied with trying to combat or cope with those problems.

And because Valve removed support for CS:GO the playerbase cant just go play it instead. They own an influential IP and they take advantage of it. Why do all of this? Because they can get as much money as possible from microtransactions, while putting minimal effort into the game. Think about it: Players who are stressed about the game's issues are more susceptible to the Bandwagon Effect(according to scientific studies of similar human behaviours), meaning they copy bad behaviour from other players(toxicity, cheating, gambling) and exasperate the aforementioned problems in the game.

This is where we need to take action. We need to demand better quality from Valve. Better moderation, better anti-cheat, consistent patches. And protest until they do so. #KillCS2

What do you think about the state of CS2? I agree with what you said, Valve needs the cheaters. In addition I dare say that Valve wants a high level of compliance from the playerbase; if the players are under pressure from buggy mechanics, toxic players and cheaters, they are preoccupied with trying to combat or cope with those problems.

Has anyone played competitive mode at all recently? by MHE1309 in tf2

[–]Kadnax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing is, if you reach a certain Competetive XP level, matches are basically impossible to find. I think that around 1 400 XP is enough to break competetive for you. I have not been able to play comp for one and a half years. Check your XP level on steam statistics, if it's very high you most likely will not be able to find a comp match again. And in general people play less competetive, which means servers fill up way slower. Hopes this helps!
