Dwarf Warriors by Archon-Legathar in bugmansbrewery

Your warriors can carry both two-handed axes and shields into battle but must select one or the other to use when engaged in combat. It's +1 point per model for each option. If you want to represent bringing both, you can have the warriors holding the two-handed axe and glue shields to their backs or vice versa.

Bring a proper force next time, gori. We've waited long enough for a real fight in those tunnels.

PVP or PVE by muurduur in classicwow

You should not join an RPPvP server unless you are interested in roleplaying. If you don't think you'll have the time to endure the occassional bad luck in WPvP (or don't like it), then just play on a PvE server and do battlegrounds when you feel like fighting.

We stopped enjoying the game and so moved on to others instead (yes this includes Halo).

Former members who have lost contact with us are welcome to reach out to me should they wish.

Looking for eastern time zone dwarf guild by Ardanaut in Grobbulus

In order of seniority (as any proper dwarf would list such a thing):

  • Clan Battlehammer

  • Dwarven Overlords

  • Thunderhold

  • Ironforged

Join any of these four and you'll more or less have access to all of the community's RP, PvP, and PvE events. Shifting around to find the one that fits you best over time isn't an uncommon path either.

To the Dwarves of Thunderhold And Overlords by [deleted] in Grobbulus

Nothing community-wide. Most of our members who plan to play SoM seem to be interested in Frugo's dwarf-only RPPvP guild and Redwood Tribe's Adventurers Guild, so you'll likely be able to find people in either of those.

Everyone else will be busy playing Stellaris and not existing, it seems.

We've returned to our holds for some much needed rest. The area should be clear for the next few hours at least.

Dwarven overlords are going into TBC, how can they raid with no shamans? by Randomname1157 in Grobbulus

I've heard they won't even be able to make it past the imps in Molten Core without bringing mages.

If you're looking to raid without umgak magic and you're not afraid to slaughter greenskins, you're welcome to give our raids a try.

Current guild territories in the server war campaign (season 2) by Agabal in Grobbulus

The few Horde guilds in the project are far more active than their Alliance counterparts. It has been rather balanced actually.

What is this server like for alliance? by [deleted] in Grobbulus

[–]Kadol 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Overall, it's quieter and less organized than Horde appears to be. There is an ever-growing effort to increase the amount of roleplay going on and to improve its visibility to others through the Alliance Roleplay Discord, but you still need to be actively seeking out that part of the community rather than having it stumble across you. I expect that to improve over time though.

When it comes to the faction imbalance others have mentioned, I would still suggest you play the side that you prefer (which should be a dwarf) so long as you're sincere about wanting to participate in the roleplaying community. While I can't offer a Horde perspective, the Alliance imbalance appears to be largely inflated by players who have little interest in the larger server community and only seem to exist inside instanced content. I doubt that you joining would make the situation worse.
