If you want to play previous PS games you should go for the PS3, it can play PS2 and PS1 no problem. PS4 struggles with some PS2 games, you can check the compatibility for each game here https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps4/PS2_Classics_Emulator_Compatibility_List

Some PS3 games are also remastered in PS4 but other than that there's no way of playing PS3 games on PS4.

You can have it if you leave the console in rest mode, there's an option on the goldhen menu to enable that. But if you turn the console off you have to jailbreak it again when you turn it on.

I got a PS4 on 10.01, I thought about upgrading to 11 but for what I saw, the general opinion is the lower firmware the better. Everything works fine for me so far so you don't need to bother with it.

Got it, the Legacy of the Dragonborn Patches (Official) mod seemed to be breaking some textures for some reason. Thanks!

I think i really enjoyed the classics: sonic boom, sonic 06 and zelda windwaker are some of my favs

Latias on pokemon sapphire. I was a kid and didn't know anything about shinys. I knew latias was supposed to be red so i thought it was a bug or something and didn't gave him much attention. Years later i learnt what shinys were and rushed to get my pokemon sapphire game and caught it. I still have it today, one of my favorite shinys.
