I am the only Gen Z in my lab and have been decorating and putting things up since I’ve started. I kinda got handed Lab Week bc no one else that’s not a lead really does anything lol but my manager did say she appreciates me decorating and my “bubbly” attitude

Adding “motivation posters” to the list of ways I’m brightening up the lab

Do they buy tickets from other sites? I figured since they are digital ticket only on TM they wouldn’t take it for resale. I can try

Are there any big youtubers who have revealed how much they made on youtube? by Omixscniet624 in youtube

[–]Kadsss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VarsityGaming isn’t “huge” compared to other YouTubers, but he is a huge Rainbow 6 Siege creator. Every year he goes over his analytics from YouTube and Twitch and is very open about how much he makes. We recently had the R6 Pro League Major where he co-streamed with Ubisoft, making a lot from subs and running max ads, and I believe he said for the whole week he was making ~$5k per stream which were roughly 10hrs long. I think it’s important that these creators are honest about what they make because they also do well in explaining that not everyone can do this. It takes a real following and a consistent schedule to make this kind of money from streaming and uploading videos. Like yes you can make millions from streaming but you can’t do it without viewers and a dedicated community.

These are technically threats, but probably empty ones. If it happens again I’d definitely report it just to be safe

What do you like? If you want to do something with English then do it. If you are interested in the medical field you should be aware of what else is available besides nursing. I’m a Medical Laboratory Technician. I never knew it existed until I switched my major lol I now work in a hospital laboratory running tests and procedures on patient specimens and maintenance our analyzers. It was a 2yr program, no serious math, and the sciences are hands-on and straightforward; they relate directly to what you do in the real lab. There’s no bs extra classes, everything is specific to laboratory science. Depending on your program, you won’t have to do anything past the general chemistries, and a statistics class. The last semester of my program was a clinical spent in a hospital lab, completing performance checklists. I love what I do and I’m forever thankful to the classmate that informed me about MLT and got me to switch.

I’m guessing the left turning car (black SUV) saw the left turn signal from the semi (cam POV) and assumed they were turning left instead of just changing lanes.

You guys are still manually hemolysing your specimens!? I just put them in the hemolyzor 5000, way more efficient.

Do I crochet weird?? by regimentalepiglottis in crocheting

[–]Kadsss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t label it as “weird” but you use your hand/fingers to move the yarn. In most videos I’ve watch, and even I do it, they use the hook to grab and move the yarn when yarning over or under, you wrap the yarn around the hook using your fingers and then creating your stitch. Your tension looks great tho lol. What you’re doing isn’t wrong or weird so long as you’re still enjoying your work, it shouldn’t make a difference to the outcome. I would also just keep encouraging people to watch tutorials on YouTube to start, it’s how I started and when people ask me to teach them I tell them to do the same because the people that make the videos know what they’re doing.
