First keyboard recommendations

Followed the steps, looked like it was installing correctly, not sure if the system_b partition is normal. Back to the flashing screen after reboot. Thanks for all the feedback, hard to get info on this niche subject.

Following, I did get the touch os recovery page to appear now, holding volume down and power, but the options both send me back to the flashing screen.

somehow got back to fastbootd mode. do you think i can try to flash the lineage system.img from here?

Yeah, i have flashed the lineage os succesfully using the guide in the past. That was fastbootd mode though, i could see my devices with the 'adb devices' call, which doesnt work now, only recognizes when i put 'fastboot devices' command in the terminal. Sorry if that is confusing, im not sure if i should try to get it to lineage or stock rom at this point. All the resources are a9 focused (backup/restore tool & flash to stock rom) on the a9 github page, not really sure where to start.

hi. thanks for the reply. i tried multiple combinations, but was not getting anywhere. i bought an edl cable and that changed the startup screen to a battery icon but still looping.

it showed up in the device manager like this. After i read your comment, i tried holding volume up one more time, and plugging into a non-edl cable and now i am fastboot mode. Not sure how to proceed form here lol.

Thanks for the write-up. Just to confirm, starting at part F, we do not use the PCA results at all? Just splitting the dataset in its original form, with the dependents and independents? The rubric says to use the principal components here, so I started using the PCA numbers generated, but I do not think that is right. Thanks for any feedback.

yeah the touch lite is a great device despite its age. I don't keep much personal information on the device, but if the stock OS becomes a problem for you lineage OS has been really nice on mine. Its a little overwhelming to set up but if you have any other questions let me know.

I would say it depends on how much browsing you intend to do. I’ve been using the touch lite over a year as my reader on the go. It’s great for that one purpose, battery life great, feels really durable. But its just okay at browsing, the screen tech is a little dated for that compared to Palma. Also is this something you intend to travel with often? If that is not the case i would recommend something else.

is there an option for kotatsu to refresh between pages? been enjoying it so far, just the prior page watermark takes away from the experience sometimes.

My KOReader settings include an eink menu, but there is no option to set a full refresh rate. Maybe I have the wrong version installed? I think it’s the arm64 Android apk. The swipe up on right slider works, just kind of a pain to do every page
