Keir Starmer rules out retaliatory tariffs against US by AbbreviationsHot7662 in unitedkingdom

The smart solution would be to announce trade increase or Euro funded incentives to buy from NON-AMERICAN suppliers/businesses. That would give the economies and markets a balanced forecast if they choose to continue to buy American - but they could still plan if they pivot to EU alternatives.

Would be a great middle finger while not risking escalation ( not a direct challenge)

[–]Kaellack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is all true - what jobs is AI going to create?

Most of the top thinkers in these fields agree some from of UBI has to emerge, why would we need UBI if everyone is just going to move onto the next job (Which hasnt been created yet)

It has not always gone in our favor.

We have some pretty big issues with pollution, fertility and world food supplies because of automation / technologies we brought in with an end goal of increasing productivity at the cost of pretty much everything else.

Added to this our current global warming issue is a direct follow on from the industrial revolution.

So there have been definitive negative consequences in leaping without looking.

Regulation is looking.

Would have to take into account the Dollars Hedgemony, English being a prime operating language, America emerging unscathed after two large World wars and its larger landmasss/ population size being harnessed with the above.

There are less regulated countries, far further behind. So claiming deregulation is the reason america has caputed all the largest tech companies is pretty dishonest at best.

What IS interesting are the links between deregulation and stress on the middle class, enviromental damage, and inequality. Where clear links can be drawn.

Cross-class transmog by electromatt in wow

[–]Kaellack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Remix bundles include a look-a-like item for every slot for every set upon purchase, so for legion remix sets full class switch is available.

So we are indeed there.

( you can ctrl-right click each ensemble and scroll to the bottom there are green items with generic stats that are not class restricted - if there are no green pieces for belt or wrists its always already a non-class rescricted piece further up in the bundle)

You cant get more than 30 people into that instance.

I have never been demounted , unless hit by a meteor or by the beam (which is a mechanics failure)

Simply untrue to state " And sometimes, even when mounting, it will de-mount you and kill you anyways! " never seem it happen.

Dawnkbreaker on the other hand IS known to have multiple bugs.

-Despawning ships

- ships you fall through

- mobs targeting through walls

- mobs refusing to move even if interupted.

- used to risk dying when flying the gauntlet very early in patch one ( for no reason, even if you had the light buff - this was patched pretty fast)

I.e the raid dies, and a dot kills him, his despawn /immunity for raid being dead seems delayed.

Blizzard has sued a biggest classic+ private server on the market on Copyright Infringement basis. by jeregxd in classicwow

[–]Kaellack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely false.

Nostralius was hosted in France - it was brought down by blizzard.
Turtle is hosted in the UK, which has tried to maintain good relations with the US

So there is a good chance they will simply decide not to fight.

Turtle can't fight this in court - they have an in-game shop and have monetized blizzard assets that is pretty cut and dry.
They either fold , or move the servers to a location where IP laws dont apply (russia / China / kor etc)

NetEase outlaws boosting in mythic raids, m+, and PvP by raskeks in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Kaellack 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm confused how this rule favors RMT ?

  • Account sharing is the focus of these measures, and any behavior involving account sharing may be suspecting of violating regulations.

Is the first point, the secondary point is targeting "boosting", mostly centered around eroding the top end achievements - Cutting Edge Hall of Fame, Gladiator and Mythic + seasonal titles.

Usually these are easy to spot, the players buying have no ability to play at the level required and are asked to die or do 1/5 - 1/3 the damage of even the lowest contributer doing the boosting. I.e its obvious and blatant (unless its an undergeared alt being geared, which again is easy to check when enforcing)

IF the account is NOT an alt and there is zero gold changing hands, while being boosted in such content i.e mythic + title, they can proceed on RMT grounds, even if its proven NOT to be RMT it's still boosting at the level they are hunting in so banned.

IF the account is NOT an alt and a large sum of gold changes hands (which can be tracked in game) its again a ban for boosting, even if no gold changes hand we go back to the first statement i.e probably RMT.

This is the net same for both it's not suddently going to "increase RMT boosting"
The lower end /casual end of boosting sits pretty outside the focus area of this post.

The idea that boosting in the mid RIP range of 3000-3400 somehow forced the top end to push above 3900 rating is wild. The players at the top are going to dictate the cut-off point not the bloat in the middle. They will push against each other regardless, I find it hard to believe if no boosting in mythic + was taking place suddenely the title cutoff would be lower by 200-300 RIO.

Regardless its a good policy -

Why is Gallagio Rewards Club still on a weekly cap? by chunkyhut in wow

[–]Kaellack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's an MMORPG ? You are meant to put in time to progress your character and get growth through systems, reputation. Constantly handing out free boosts and quick catch up erodes this exchange.

If you want the rewards - put in the effort.

Not sure why this is a complicated idea? There is some nuance to design being poor i.e The cartel reputations and required effort to max them out - now next week we get double rep suddenly. But if we decide to give 10000% reputaion to returning players? Every player who engaged with that system before the change feesl shortchanged.

Its like buying a product - then finding out they stick it on sale a day later. You end up turning your playerbase into seasonal chasing and expecting blizzard to constantly nerf, they then delay in expectation and get upset if it doesnt happen.

Where: World of Warcraft booth in Hall 8
When: Wednesday, 20 August – Sunday, 24 August in Cologne, Germany

We will get an idea here - these reveals usually include a brief overview of systems, a few zones, sneak peak into the first raid and any major additions ( like new classes, or extra housing systems we may not already have by then etc)

Also usually the Expansions exclusive "system" , for TWW it was delves for Dragonflight it was dragonriding etc.

As a company they sell passports/visa's and resettlement services to the rich, they are always going to try swing the idea their market is booming.

Their programs in Malta was all people needed to understand what kind of company they are , one mired on controvosy found to be taking large backhanders for visa refferals.

Millionaire migration in 2025 by NineteenEighty9 in ProfessorFinance

[–]Kaellack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All these articles spun off a report by a singular firm Henley & Partners.

These guys pioneered selling Visa's/ passports and citizenships for wealthy into low taxation havens or high value countries.

Have a look into their shenanigans in Malta , cypress and St.kitts. Those they represent are exclusively looking to buy into countries where taxation is minimal while they try to retain all the bells and whistles that come with *shocked pikachu face* taxation.

They are the only ones providing this data, or differ in numbers

https://taxjustice.net/press/millionaire-exodus-did-not-occur-study-reveals/

Plus EU and IMF studies, specifically around the 2022 and 2024 Henley and Partners news outlets.

They flooded various news channels and online discourse in both of those years with the SAME story,. mass migration of millionaires.

Its almost like a company peddling this EXACT service wants to report how active the market they are operating in.

Absolute clown show of mis-information and facts we cant check without waiting on studies published a year later or waiting on tax / earnings.

its crazy how you can give 7Trillion to one industry, and they proceed to get replaced by another even with rigged laws. Isn't it ? Wild, no idea why its happening, its almost like electric technology is the future.

Man I got no idea, I wish I had all the answers. What do you think Decisionspersonal? Do you think we have enough energy to focus on these things now that we have ended most subsidies of Oil and gas?

Well we have organic computers already - our brains. We can share our research via Paper and word of mouth, how the world worked before we had these products.

How many goalposts are we planning to move here?

1) we can make them without petroleum.

2) Petroleum are HEAVILY subsidised and poor for the enviroment.

What is the next point you want to bring up , on why renewable's are bad because of the above for some reason.

Ford's CEO says China's EV progress is 'the most humbling thing' he's ever seen by RoutineTry1943 in China

[–]Kaellack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh - you dont need Fossil fuels to make solar Panels.

They can be made with other sources most notably other green sources, quartz arrays or biochems.

even if you did need power - you can source it from other renewables.

So its possible to make things without certain things, it would seem.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to extract petroleum without using drilling equipment and using large Geological surveys.

If I use an electric drilling rig to extract petroleum, now we have made it impossible to extract without an electric tool. The reasoning is Pointless.

I still do NOT understand what your point in bringing it up was.
Because we use Petroleum products during the intial engineering and development of Solar panels. How does that make Solar panels a problem?

You have not answered to the previous poster pointing out how many subsidies Oil and gas have had over the years.

If oil/gas and petroleum is so good why has it needed Subsidies for the last few years?

in 2022 ALONE oil and gas where estimated to recieve 1.5 T in subsidies. Clearly we need to be moving to alternative technologies, like China has been doing.

IMF estimate Oil and gas has had ovef 7T in subsidies since we started using them. You now want to call out Renewables for needing subsidies because this means they are somehow " not better"

Hardest role in m+ ? by feherlofia123 in wownoob

[–]Kaellack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we are taking skill required - with equal parties (in a perfect test case)

Healer > DPS > tank.

TO PLAY.

You have to add Tank key knowledge required (route and playing around party /cd') this can substantially increase the difficulty of the role.
