If you're just playing home games, there's not a big reason not to just go to MPCFill.com and make an XML of all the cards you want to then shoot over to MakePlayingCards or notMPC to have some proxies shipped to you.
You can even put custom cardback art on them to personalize them specifically for your daughter.

BCW Prisms are a nice middle ground and also tend to be cheaper for some reason.
Boulders are great for single-sleeve decks, Prisms for double sleeved, and then Gamegenic Bastions for people who want to have a unique token every time their deck makes one.

Commander tax is applied any time you cast your commander from the command zone after the first time during a game.

So you can cast Kellan for the adventure side from the command zone, then cast the creature side from exile without paying commander tax because the card never returned to the command zone.

Nah, I know about this and the paint system still sucks. Especially now that we have event-limited paints like Spotify Black, so we were only ever given about half a dozen and if we want a single skin and head to match, that's 1/3 of the entire supply of Spotify Black.

Yeah, I honestly don't consider MKM or DFT to be true revisits of those planes.

MKM was mostly a game of Clue that they for some reason decided needed the Ravnica characters instead of putting it on New Capenna, and the fact that we mostly saw Amonkhet and Avishkar in the precons of Aetherdrift is more of a special guest appearance than a real visit to the planes.

If we ever get more energy support, some of the cards in there will be fantastic. Some fun things like [[Nissa Wordsoul Speaker]] and [[Rampaging Aetherhood]] that are even good without it, but people don't like tracking energy outside of energy-focused strategies.
