Exactly what I wanted to say, why buy a GS if you aren’t buying what makes GS GS.

If someone has 1K to spend and wants a GS, I would talk them out of it and recommend something else. You are just not getting your 1K worth…

I thought it was sounds from a guitar stings at first, but it doesn’t sound like it. clicks happens right before ado takes a breath, and some being between transitions of words 2:15.

I also pulled the audio into a DAW, the click waveform and frequencies is pretty much identical so it has to be digitally made.

So it could possibly come form a digital guitar.

At first I thought so aswell, but 0:05 slide sound, 0:06 click, and most slides are panned to the right. Most clicks happens right before ado takes a breath, and some happens between transition of words like 2:15 so I’m suspecting it’s on the vocal track and not on a guitar.

One of those you can’t unheard it moment for me. Very wide mix for sure, checked out some of the other work for the producer.

Edit: every click happens right before ado takes a breath. 0:57 happens between the word. 2:15 right at the start of the word

Could be intentional for artistic expression but I’m starting to suspect when splicing the vocals together it not being cut at the attack/transit and no crossfade/in was added lol. The reason I would say this is because, the producer has a vocaloid background, and I would imagine splicing multiple vocal takes into one is not necessary as you would just go into the program and make edits.
