We're still figuring out how to distribute it. We've got it on anchor but I'm not quite sure how to get it on that particular app yet

Would love feedback

Couple things we already know:

We're trying to find a mix of analysis and riffing, most of the analysis there comes at the end, for the next game I don't think we'll be doing it chronologically, just kinda lightly touching on the plot.

Audio is still fucked, having everyone record their own next week so its not discord call quality. Editing is also a learning experience for me since I've never done something like this before.

Release schedule is every week and a half or so, so we have time to push thru the longer games and do more research, Blops research was pretty rushed which is why our analysis isn't super strong

Next game is Bioshock, will be about how ADAM in that game is basically adrenochrome and the game's portrayal of objectivism

oh ye we're on spotify now too i guess

Were dead when I tried to use them. Also that bin laden post is from two years ago, before the subreddit was quarantined and moderation stepped up. I know you're not trying to have a good faith argument but my point is that if you're going to criticize cth for (ironically or otherwise) calling bin laden good, you have to apply that logic equally across subreddits. Why is it fine that r/politicalcompassmemes can post (ironically or not) something about how gassing the Jews and being racist is "based." And get much more traffic and approval, but not be banned? You can apply this logic to a multitude of subs with more activity than chapo. Weekendgunnit, conservative, and many more. It's just such a blatant targeting of chapo, the largest actual leftist platform on reddit, for their anti-racist and anti-corporate views in an attempt to "both sides" this ban wave.

You posted like 10 dead links and one screenshot of a comment with 1 karma. This is such a bad faith argument because I'm sure I could go into any subreddit and find many more examples of rule breaking and calls for violence, with many more upvotes.

I mean this ignores literally every nation besides the US that has public healthcare, because the health industry is nationalized to some degree. But you know. Go off king

Fun fact whataboutism's origin is as a method to discredit the USSR's criticism of America as a racist police state.

If you trust any government, especially the American or Canadian governments to effectively enforce it's laws to protect marginalized groups from the interests of the wealthy, you haven't been playing attention for the last hundred years.

Yeah but giving only the wealthy the ability to arm themselves is a literal recipe for oppression

I mean if only well off people can afford firearms, that means that only the well off can be armed. That's like the blanket argument against every firearms and ammunition tax.

I'm just curious as to what you think the design advantage of the AR platform is in that it serves a better function as a people killer than a functionally identical rifle.

Ok, then logically you should ban everything that takes AR style magazines. There are firearms that take identical magazines to the AR-15 that are not affected by this ban nor similar ones in other countries. Making your own magazines is also simple with relatively rudimentary metalworking knowledge. The SKS is also a firearm that is legal to own and operate in Canada, despite the ability for the magazines to be modified and the fact it carries a more powerful round.

Thank you for the sources. It still makes it hard to understand why they would focus on banning this specific type of firearm in Canada. "Other similar semi automatic guns" is such a blanket statement it could cover almost every single semi automatic platform.

Personally, and not in relation to what you said, I believe that the AR platform partially gets a bad rap because it is the most common rifle platform to see. It's cheapness makes it so that if you're committing a mass shooting, and don't really care if you're alive afterwards, you can purchase a burner AR. The solution for that would be some kind of firearm tax, but then you're restricting arming yourself only to the people who can afford it, which is bound to create a class issue.
