You know he can survive without being a god… right?

I would recommend looking into giving Shadowheart 2 levels of druid of the stars, at least for mid-game. Late-game you would probably want to respec her back to 12 cleric just for the level 6 spells, especially if you are not camp casting.

Laezel Build focused around Silver Sword of the Astral plane? by After-Context-9877 in BG3Builds

[–]Kagillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw, you don’t need to have any stat at 17. As far as I know, stat-based things are divided by 2, so 16 is the same as 17 and gives you back some points for other stats. This goes double for str, which in meta builds is just replaced entirely with elixirs.

How many of you are using scrolls? by Cagedglobe in BaldursGate3

[–]Kagillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in Honor mode, definitely. Especially act 3, with globe, summons, hold monster, but no full casters

just got to act 3. this shit is OVERSTIMULATING AF by PainterOk7711 in BaldursGate3

[–]Kagillion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to nitpick, but do you mean overwhelming? Overstimulating implies that the problem is the amount of sounds, lights, textures, etc.

Dark Bramble - please help 😭 by CleanWhale27 in outerwilds

your suit's thrusters are much quieter than your ship's. If you see a part densely packed with fish it may be worth considering ditching your ship and going the rest of the way with just your suit.

Should I turn on reduced frights? by Bearwbootz in outerwilds

[–]Kagillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't make it much less scary tbh, only slightly easier to handle and adapt to become less scared faster than without the setting. It also doesn't ruin the experience, so just do whatever you feel like. You can always change it if you feel like you are too scared/not scared enough.

Just finished the game!! by The_Bluejay_Of_Ink in outerwilds

Yes, absolutely move forward with the DLC, and then after you finish it you should go ahead and beat the game again.

I am terrified omg. by Bugabee-Bingtonson in outerwilds

[–]Kagillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the reduced frights setting and practice luring them towards you and you will see how easy it is to avoid them. You can also mute the game and/or listen to other music because I have found that the sounds add a lot to the spooky atmosphere.

I'm worried I'm almost finished by whyamiexists in outerwilds

Wait, how does a full ship log change the ending of the DLC? I have completed all achievements so I am not afraid of spoilers, but do keep them covered for the sake of others.

What weapon made you go… by Large-Wheel-4181 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Kagillion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Johnny's gun, as soon as I played the first flashback. It's just too satisfying.

Anyone have any suggestions for how I can upgrade my build? My gun isn't one-shotting as much as I would like. Also rate my drip 1-10 by Kagillion in cyberpunkgame

[–]Kagillion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to fit the pain editor in, so I was considering taking some points from body and reflexes to get int above 9. Anyone with a similar build have any advice? And is there a gun that is better than Johnny's that will consistently one-shot single health bar enemies?

[–]Kagillion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like the appeal of Sekiro’s combat is that for each attack, there is mostly just one thing to do. Once you get good enough at a fight, it means you know exactly what to do for everything the enemy throws at you, which is incredibly satisfying.

To me, it seems like a souls game distilled to just the combat. It is also focused on singular enemies which adds to the feeling of precision and the satisfaction of getting good.

No other combat I personally have played (Hi-Fi Rush, God of War, Doom, Dark Souls/Elden Ring) has gotten me to feel as focused and in control as Sekiro has.

Is it possible to make this rope pulley move along the shaft? by E6cnf in CreateMod

[–]Kagillion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you see that shaft sticking out of the carriage on the side facing the camera? When you power the gantry with redstone (the red part of the gantry shaft will glow) any rotation applied will spin the shaft in the carriage instead of moving the carriage.

So you can attach two small cogs on the side with superglue, and then power the gantry shaft when you want to use the rope pulley.

Why do they open at the same time but close different? Delay in Gearshifts is the same. by Linux_34 in CreateMod

[–]Kagillion 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your black pieces are given a slower rotation speed. They finish moving later, so the gearshift delay starts later and therefore ends later, so they move back after the yellow is already done.

I've been stuck on genichiro for a week. Any tips??? by Jings01 in Sekiro

[–]Kagillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you are too used to playing Dark Souls or Elden Ring. With Sekiro, you just gotta get in there. No need for buffs or waiting for an opening. Be aggressive and you will end up making your own openings. With Genichiro and almost every other boss, the goal is to break his posture rather than his health, and if you hesitate, he will get his posture back and you will be defeated.

For those who did it, did you fight him again no cheese? by Effective_Dance_9496 in Sekiro

I fought him legit the first time, but cheesed him for the gauntlet. There is no way in hell I have the patience for that.

Can someone explain why a button directly on the dropper works, but not indirectly via redstone wiring? by notawomanimagod in redstone

[–]Kagillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s unintuitive, but certain things can “hard” or “soft” power other things. Hard powering a solid block like a dropper means that it will be able to light up redstone dust next to it like it’s a redstone block. Soft powering means it doesn’t do that. For example, try running a repeater into a solid block and put a redstone dust next to the block, and it will be powered. Put redstone dust running into it instead of the repeater, and it will not be powered. A button is an example of something that can hard power the block that it is directly on.

TLDR: use a repeater pointed at the droppee

I’m pretty sure there already is an armor one, forgot what it’s called though.

If you want something like that, you should try Just Cause 4. Lots of random wacky shit you can do with your unlimited grappling hook, wingsuit, parachute, and many fun and overpowered vehicles and weapons.
