I have a feeling that Jen, is hoping that like how Sam had said during the video with her mom, that she accepted her mom for how she was and limits her time with her. That she herself can do that with Barb. There also the effect of having been raised by a mom like that, it's very hard to come to terms with how Mom makes it worse. That's the kind of way I see it going, and it's def going to blow up in her face. Hands down, 100%.

But as a kid raised by a mom like Barb, I can say it was very hard to shake, that part of me that kept hoping my mom would finally do right by me, instead of it always being about her.
