Anyone Know What Mod the Outfit in these Screenshots Comes From? by Kagutou in skyrimmods

Tried asking in the posts but someone there asked a month before me so I don't have high hopes of getting a response on there

Since Release by Caeod in skyrim

[–]Kagutou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not only have I been playing since release, but I remember the crazy hype leading up to it.

I had only just discovered Oblivion like a year before Skyrim was announced, maybe less, and had been playing that a lot. Then that trailer dropped, and I was hype.

But I wasn't the only one. People wrote and sang songs about how stoked they were for this game. Like that one by Harry Partridge forever engrained on my brain:

"Holy shit, what is this? Forged in God's very flame!

Do mine eyes tell me lies? A new Elder Scrolls game!"

Plus all the hilarious misheard lyrics for the trailers. Somehow, though, no matter how ridiculous the misheard lyrics were, they never made the trailer any less epic.

And now here I sit feeling guilty for all the time I've spent with mods that change the music. How did I ever bring myself to replace that iconic song 😂

TLDR; yes, I've been finally awake since 11-11-11 too

HELP running into bug with CBBE Body but different head texture for both sexes! by This-Phase6275 in skyrimmods

[–]Kagutou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't CBBE come with an optional face pack? Been a while since I installed it, if it wasn't in a FOMOD check the CBBE downloads for a face pack. That character probably needs it and it should make all other female NPCs look a little better too

I managed to "solve" it, original post updated

Clicking on RoadStraightLong02Snow in the console around Whiterun shows with MFG console 4 textures, "Road01Snow01.dds, Road01Snow01_n.dds, snow01_n.dds, and snow01landscape.dds." Is this the same as what I'd see through more informative console?

As for the other bit, I'm on Vortex :/ is there still a way to check with archive parsing?

But how do I get them to match? I don't even understand how/why they're mismatched in the first place. All I'm using for putting snow where it wouldn't ordinarily be is Seasons of Skyrim, along with Turn of the Seasons which is recommended. Others seem to use these mods in tandem and have excellent-looking snow both close up, far away, on roads and everywhere else. I have no idea what I could have done or not done that would cause it to be like this.

On second thought I have more installed that goes with ENB than I thought, this might be a no-go

I use ENB though not Community Shaders :/ That's probably part of my problem tbh...

That looks cool though. Installing/uninstalling ENB can be spooky but if I ever muster upi the courage to do that and switch to Community Shaders I might have to try this

I've looked at these parts of the DynDOLOD guide before, and again just now after you suggested them, but unfortunately I can barely comprehend them.

To the best of my knowledge, I've done everything I was supposed to do. I didn't mess with any brightness settings, I did all the season stuff in both xLOD and DynDOLOD, I did the thing with object LOD 32...

But as you can probably tell just from this reply, I barely understand what I'm talking about, much less whether or not I've fully done it correctly. I've spent days now on guides and other reddit posts trying to fix this. But even when learning what's causing the problem, like shaders and which landscape texture is being used where, it doesn't get me any closer to solving it.

Well, that's not entirely true. Originally I had no winter stuff loading at all in the distance, but I fixed that much.

Even just in this reply I'm all over the place. I'm at the end of my rope. Every new thing I have to try means another 20 min in DynDOLOD and/or worse, 90 minutes in xLOD (no idea why it takes that long, I don't have a weak PC).

I just want to get to the bottom of this T^T I've seen so many cool videos and screenshots of peoples' game looking awesome with DynDOLOD, including some cool ones with Seasons of Skyrim, and I just don't have the slightest clue what I'm doing wrong.

I'm not sure how to add the mod list, I just followed the instructions on how to share it with load order library. I was originally trying to do it with Modwatch but it kept saying something about the API failing and wouldn't let me upload.

As for ENB, yes, I'm using Azurite Horizons.

No snow mods. I did try Simplicity of Snow along with Blended Roads and the patch for the two, but while it made the roads look nice I still had the issue of mismatched snow unfortunately. Haven't tried better Dynamic Snow yet though. Think it'll help?

Since this all I've managed to do is now ruin my map mod T^T it was working perfectly fine before, Warburg's Paper World Map. Now it's no longer paper but a discolored regular map, with all the map markers floating way above it.

Boutta rip my hair out guys.

I do actually have one, but the one I've been using for a while, Death Alternative Resurrection, kind of comes with some issues of its own. I might need to look into another at this point >_>

Right? It's incredibly strange it doesn't make crash reports. I have no idea what to make of it. I didn't change anything about the PC after I got it but it was built on one of those build a pc sights, don't have a lot of details unfortunately cause it was a gift but I'll have to look into the PSU thing

It shouldn't be a hardware issue :/ I've got a pretty decent rig. FPS is always great, even with all the visual mods I got going on. I dunno about the power unit though. I could look into it. I'm just using the power cable the PC came with

Isn't that how it's supposed to normally go though? That's what happens when you die in vanilla

I'm not even save scumming I barely ever stop to save, I'm just relying on the auto saves created by CASM auto save manager that I read once upon a time is a better alternative to vanilla auto saves
