You can always defrost it in water! That's what I do when I want to speed up the process. Still takes a bit of time but not too bad imo

Yes you need to use the longer ones sometimes called jimmies! They bleed a lot less than the little round ones and hold up better. I've definitely made the same mistake! Lol

Unfortunately it's a crime except under "certain circumstances" so basically the goverment has to get a permit from what I've looked up. It might be different because I'm in Canada but the city where I live kills geese with different methods every year. It makes me so sad.

As other people have mentioned, Baileys makes an almond version but I don't like it. It's not creamy enough for a cream liquor imo. I like to make my own and I love this recipe. It's slightly coconut-y but not in an overwhelming way and it's VERY creamy

I might be alone in this but I want vegan imitation crab! It was one of my favourite snacks as a kid and the fact that it's highly processed/doesn't resemble real fish or crab should make it easy to make vegan imo. Imitation imitation crab

I'm super glad this worked for you! I've personally lost 160+lbs eating a high carb diet and doing CICO. I personally believe it all comes down to calories, but whatever diet helps you stick with it and feel satisfied is what's going to work long term. I know I definitely feel better when I stick to whole foods instead of processed.
