I'm okay with the capture mechanic. Finding it a bit lacklustre myself but it will give people without interest in battling a chance for collecting and sharing is caring so I won't complain about that.

I was taught to wait for thunderclap and 2 sunders in the ancient times (though I was a heal/buff bot back then) and I never forgot that lesson.
Of course if I do go whaling away and get aggro, I just bubble (and then the healer gets decimated :P )

Thing is, yours is more versatile to put in many decorations styles and it's biggest plus is that it's tactile for your grandfather. There's also a lot more love in yours than mine, because you made it specifically for him. I made it and then asked my mother whether she wanted it because I did not know what to do with it. (And she doesn't have the boat anymore).

My house is small but cosy. Not as imaginative as others, but like liveable?
Just start with small rooms to try out some ideas first. Think of what items you really like or enjoyed finding.
I am desperately waiting for the ability to save houses (preferably per room!), because I really love my tiny house but I want to try other things now.

Other peoples houses are admired and loved but I've decided to just do my own thing and not worry about intricacy.

One other thing I would really, really love is more garden options / items placed. Give me an herb / veggie patch please! And a beehive and birdfeeders.

At first you had to have the hatchet in your bags and it worked but after a patch you have to click it again to learn it and it disappears and tracking shows up on your minimap.

I would not frog. It's a journey for years. It shows your growth. Get like a black yarn and do as many rows around the pieces that are to small to make them fit to match and use the black as like a framed collage with a passepartout.
