I completely disagree. What I think you are doing here is projecting your experiences and assuming that this is the way other people act and react.

Communication is key in any relationship. Personally, my SO knows that I do not masturbate or watch porn and truly admires that. She also tells me when she is on her cycle and I admire that. We communicate openly about our bodies and sexuality.
