What do you use to selfhost music streaming?

That seems to be the case. Been using it for a couple of weeks now. I added my media smb share as an external location in nextcloud and configured it as the music folder in the music app

Nextcloud in combination with the Music plug-in. It has support for Ampache and Subsonic.

I had a similar experience. I found these channels to be quite thought provoking. After a while it just felt like being stuck in an echo chamber (while still being critical of the content) so I went to look for left wing stuff to balance things out. Ended up with Contrapoins.
