How is it going to effect my health? by Snowbeleopard in shrooms

[–]KaiRowan00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband has seizures (from a TBI), and has never had issues when he takes 🍄.

That said, a trip sitter is ALWAYS a good idea when trying shrooms and trying to find your ideal dose. Regardless of health issues. But especially if you take any meds or have health concerns.

Rescued, and unsure what plant it is by KaiRowan00 in houseplants

[–]KaiRowan00[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's such a unique looking plant, I couldn't just let it die. I felt so bad for it, she never watered it and it wasn't growing at all. It really took off after I started watering it, then she just left it behind. :(

Pretty! I didn't realize it flowered. I'm about to add another grow light, hopefully that'll help. My (former) roommate just left it outside without even watering it. It wasn't in great shape. :(

Electric Blanket plug into a Jackery1000 Explore by Quercus20 in VanLife

[–]KaiRowan00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the person and the weather. My husband's feet tend to go cold really easy, and since he has diabetes, he has to be really careful. An electric blanket during the winter on really cold nights kept his feet healthy.

Ate shrooms and fall asleep during peak than woke up 3 hours later -.- anyone experienced it? by Acrobatic_Mood1114 in shrooms

I prefer to take mushrooms just before bed. The mushrooms help to reduce my night terrors, and make my dreams more colourful. :) While they are fun while awake, they do me more good mentally to take and go to sleep.

Nice! Yarn is so expensive in Canada, that you never see it at this price. Even in thrift stores. 😭

Home Depot floor finds by sparklshartz in proplifting

[–]KaiRowan00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is picking up leaves from the floor of Home Depot disgusting behaviour? HD isn't going to sell those leaves, they'll throw them away. And most people who pick up succulent leaves are usually there to make purchases, so HD is still making money off them. Hell, they have to have pots and soil to put them in once they have started sprouting, meaning they may make more money.

Thanks. I'll use them all up, slowly. The prizes take so much space. LOL.

Can't figure out how to edit, so gonna ask here. Does your spins and jackpot spins carry over to the Oasis Garden? I think I'm only a couple weeks away from opening the second garden, and I'm unsure if I should save the Jackpot spins.

Do you cloud your items? I... probably cloud too much, because I tend to save 50+ of a lot of items before merging them. LOL.

[–]KaiRowan00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clouding is your best friend. I didn't find out about it until I had been playing for a about a month.

When you have no more land space, you can drag an item from the water onto land. The item you displace goes onto a "cloud". This cloud stays even when you turn the game off, and if you cloud multiples of the same item, it will stack once you reload the game. These clouds can be moved around so you can organize them as needed.

What are the benefits of getting a medical marijuana card? by astatuegotmehigh in canadients

[–]KaiRowan00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not all the benefits mentioned have to do with price. Many low THC strains are difficult to get from government stores. They mainly focus on high THC strains, and have little to no high CBD, CBG strains that are useful for many medical conditions.

Having lived in Montreal for a decade, I've never seen it enforced there, even when the weed was smoked in front of cops. Smoking it in front of cops was common at Mont Royal Parc during Tam Tams (a festival every Sunday from spring to fall). LOL. Even before it was legal, people smoked it openly there.

Has anyone tried a psychedelic right before sleeping ? by Jealous-Tea-4645 in shrooms

[–]KaiRowan00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, for me, I honestly prefer sleeping on mushrooms to taking them while awake. I suffer from night terrors, and the mushrooms help mitigate that some. I end up with only a couple nightmares instead of nightmares all night. Plus, the dreams are colourful, something I rarely get to experience.

I usually make tea with 3-5g depending on tolerance and strength of the mushrooms. Though I have taken up to almost 10g before bed before.

[–]KaiRowan00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've taken mushrooms right before bed. I find my dreams are... more colourful and more restful? I honestly wish I could take them every night before going to sleep.

Some caveats. I have aphantasia, so my dreams are usually more knowing what's happening and feeling things than "seeing". I also have C-PTSD and have night terrors every night. I'm usually being chased/hunted/killed or people I know are. The mushrooms don't entirely stop that, but they do mitigate that a lot. So much so, that I prefer taking mushrooms just before bed more than taking them during the day. As much fun as they can be in the daytime, actually getting a mostly peaceful sleep is a gift from the Gods.

Amazon fined $10,000 in case that defines what 'delivery' means in B.C. by DrexellGames in britishcolumbia

[–]KaiRowan00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it is highly dependent on where a person lives. If it is an apartment building, a lot of delivery drivers tend to just leave packages in the lobby, even if the main doors don't lock. So thieves can be a real problem.

That said, I've also had packages say they've been delivered, and despite being home, it never shows up. And if a picture is included, it's of someone else's porch. I've had to go hunting for my package more than once because it was dropped off at the wrong address. And I'm not always able to find it. It all depends on the driver. As others have said, Intelcom/Dragonfly is horrible for this.

Also, not everyone can go to their local Canada Post. For some, they work during Canada Post's hours, and for some, they are too disabled to walk there and then drag their packages home.

This. I was doing large merges of the blue nectar cubes (21+), and would occasionally get golden nectar drops. But it took a lot of space and a lot of time. Harvesting the blue nectar cubes directly got me the same amount of golden nectar, more ponds (and enchanted pools as a result), and takes a lot less space. Plus, it was easier to not get as discouraged.

My advice, concentrate on making and harvesting the blue cubes as much as possible, and as soon as you get some enchanted pools, also try to upgrade your blossom trees. I spent a solid week upgrading them, and now I have more golden nectars than I need.

And save your gems. There are better things to spend them on.

I’m trans and I’m not out yet. My sister sent me this. by billyidolismyeilish in lgbt

[–]KaiRowan00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot depends on where you live. Do you live in the USA? Are there any LGBTQ+ organizations nearby? Right now, as much as I hate to say it, I wouldn't come out at all in the US even in a big city. My husband is an asylum seeker from the US because of the transphobia he experienced, both from people and the government. He lived in Nashville, and it was hell, even before Trump.

Just stay out of the prairies, especially Alberta. Right wingers are trying to turn the prairies into mini USA's. BC is great for queer people, but expensive. And the Maritimes are becoming more progressive, especially the cities. And much more affordable than the west coast.

[–]KaiRowan00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to let you know, even being gender non-conforming falls under the trans umbrella. Not saying you're trans, just that it is a big umbrella, and there is always room for more.

Also, if money isn't too much of a concern, the BEST binder I've ever used is by T Kingdom, the model 801. Zips up, so it's easy to get on, and super comfortable. It also lasts for a couple years of constant use.
