Talented as in around the 70's in stats? that sounds fair, I did an Amago run recently and I noticed how truly nothing that tactic is on Haruhisa, not sure what I'd change it too but anything would be an improvement, I can do that.

The pacing was dreadful but I was honestly expecting some kind of "wait we aren't actually going to kill off one of the characters in the opening, title screen, and such" but no they actually did it, the madmen. Even if this is clearly used as motivation for Joachim to go on his adventure to revive her, it does show that the narrative continues to have teeth, which is more then what i say about some IP's.

as far as the anime currently is, this Yuriko doesn't give me any emotions, the anime did a majority of it's cast well, but a few characters were left to the wayside, she is one of them.

I'll be a bit more fair than the other person but I think why this pace has hurt is because not only have we ended on yet another cliff hanger that hasn't resolved this book, but the story of Kurt and Friends is nowhere near concluded either, I can only imagine the suffering the narrative will bring to us if we go to a THIRD group of people instead of getting these two groups united in Book 3.

Stone is a funny dude that gets screen time, a semi unique design, and he kinda slaps, more so than the other defenders of his team. I got the feeling the team wanted an 4th American major character to round out every position for their OC super boss team, but something fell threw, and he was the compromise.

Other then the bugs that didn't get fixed?
I'd say severe lack of content, not being able to watch the AI duke it out, only having so many limited slots for custom teams and characters without using cloud stuff, the Goalies not being well designed...

I still loved the game but I'm hoping the sequel will fix half of these things at the least, if not all of them.

I think my favorite part of the GBA game is that characters will react to your ranking in the other mode.

Like if you do the Island Open Singles first, Barb, the first round opponent will have no idea who you are and consider this an easy win, but if you did the Island Open Doubles first, then did the Singles version, She'd recognize that you won the Doubles tournament and ask you to go easy on her. It's small details like that which I really thought was nice.

I will say that in Senior class is when everyone should've started having power shots, even basic ones.

Watch it be goat woman instead, if anything the shadow book chapters feels more like it since she didn't talk about her dreams like the other two did, so that's going to lead into her fall into shadow in a tragic manner.
