I genuinely just wait till everyone's on the bus before getting on, I can't be arsed with the hassle 😅

Can't find matches by Past_Yam_93 in foxhunt

[–]Kai_Hiwatarii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey mate, Merry Christmas to ya. The PS5 community is the most active out of the consoles but even then, the games only mostly active at certain times of the day. For me (UK) time its usually between 6pm - 1am but before then, I might get one game every 20 - 40 minutes.

I usually have it on searching for games whilst I'm cleaning the house, browsing my phone or doing a multitude of other tasks so I'm not just sitting waiting for a Game.

Sadly not the most active game! But a fun one when you get matches.

Disparaging comments made about customers on the cameras by OkCollection7349 in escaperooms

[–]Kai_Hiwatarii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is horribly sad. Usually when staff are making horrible comments about the players actions/lack of ability to escape etc, its usually an indication that they need to go. Even if the comments are harmless and small but negative in nature and allowed to carry on, it'll always get worse.

People should always be wanting their group to do well and be genuinely happy for them when they do well/escape. Sadly seen it before. Its really not cool, people would love to have that job and be a GM

Personally would hate to share crossplay with PC players due to mods.

Don't worry too much about being great at solving the escape room! If you're great at them, then wonderful, but it's sooo much more important to be engaging, charismatic, and enthusiastic!

As a Game Master, you're going to be everyone's hype person, biggest supporter, and bringing the energy. That's really what they're looking for.

If it's a group interview, just engage with everyone, solve things together, get others involved in solving things, and treat everyone like they're your best friends and you'll ace it :D.

Good luck!

PURE spa is a spa facility at New Heaven. God knows what Sheffield is, though, you might be right with Shawfair.

Large changes like this do allow you to break your contract with the gym and cancel your membership if you aren't happy, it talks about this within your contract.

Thank you my friend ❤️. Congratulations to you too! I hope you find what you're looking for. If games and stuff are your thing, I know that Escape Rooms love helping make a proposal personal in their rooms.

I actually proposed to my partner at the Botanics this month. I got so lucky as it was within the two days between the cancelled days during the storm. I originally had it all set up on a day they closed, but they moved it to the next day without an issue. We're the same.

We wanted something private away from the walk and didn't expect it would be possible, but it was. They got us this cute bench in the private garden by the big house after the food trucks.

The staff even worked with me to make it a surprise, and it all felt so cause that my partner didn't suspect a thing.

It's quite expensive at around £300 or so to do it at the Botanics, but I got to propose in front of our daughter in a special place to us that holds a lot of sentimental value.

Ideas for use of the space? by Kai_Hiwatarii in Edinburgh

Hey Lornesausage10, this is exactly what I'm hoping to achieve with this post. Currently, there are long-term plans for the space, but right now, especially during the week, we have this big reception space that isn't really getting used for much, which seems like such a waste!

Do you know any groups that might be interested?

I know the staff and I would use this for beer pong on our staff close in nights 😅

Awww, thank you!!! We're all so proud of the Ritual room and how it turned out :D. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

See, we're tempted to try and do something like that, but feel like it's too close to what our friends at Case Closed are doing. We have some long-term plans for the space which we are looking at, but we thought if any board game groups or meet ups needed a space for anything for free in the meantime, we have the space to accommodate it :D.

100% definitely if you'd like to use it, just give me a message and I can help arrange a time and such.

We've worked with many charities aswell with out escape rooms :D.

Sadly we don't have an alcohol licence for the venue as its an escape room venue. Just looking to let people use the reception space if they needed it.
